Photo uploads result in "You can't share this link" error message

I had this happen to me twice now. Once back in May, I tried to upload some photos taken up north and a couple of them said "You can't share this link" in place of where the thumbnail of the photo is usually. It has a triangle with an exclamation point inside of it. There is nothing bad in the photo, it was a mountain and a sky.

I tried cropping the image, resizing the image, and converting it to PNG using Photoshop. But I am still receiving that "You can't share this link" message whenever I upload those specific photos.

Fast forward to today, I tried uploading a photo of a field that I took. Same error message. Tried the same steps to resolve it. However, the same message still persists.

I received an "Oops!" error message on a couple photos of my wife and I posing in our yard today, but converting those to PNG worked. It is not working for the ones getting the "you can't share this link", however.

A Google search does not turn up any hits pertaining to photos uploads. Most are sharing links or links to old photos and even those do not have very many results. None of the results pertain to actually uploading photos except my help center question regarding it which has absolutely zero replies.

Why am I not allowed to upload some photos that I took?

Then why is it only doing it on specific photos? I can upload others in other albums just fine after that message. I guess Facebook does not like people who takes dozens of photos a day and uploads them all once a month.

that sounds like the problem.

now all you have to do is stop uploading anything for a couple of days and it should be back to normal. i'd wait out 2-3 days if i were you.

Why is this doing this now? I have been doing the same procedure since 2012 and only recently have I had a problem.

Because everything in live changes specially social networks, remember that for them this is a business not something for people to share, back in 2012 the goal was still up to a certain point to attract people now is all business and it will just get worse.

I had problem in the past trying to upload specific photos, I was able to go around it doing small modifications to them (playing with contrast, horizontal flip, adding some text, etc.) however it does not always work, since you could be able to post them but they also got shadow banned once I was able to post them.
