It's not often that I am excited to make a post about purchasing a product or service. You can tell, because I've never actually done this... So far I've been so impressed with the pre-sale conversations, that I had to change my pre-sale silence. Please do join me for my "first time."

I have been speaking back and forth with @Peter Ngo for the past week in preparation for ordering his services. He has taken the time to have a decent look at my site, and really took the time to analyse my onsite SEO strategy. After explaining the concept of the site, he first looked to see if it was providing the concept that I had explained to him. It's a relatively new site, so I was absolutely up for suggestions. I knew a few things might hurt to begin with (ripping the permalink out from a few huge keywords that were already around #25-35), but would be best for long term ranking, and user experience. Over the course of probably around a week of conversation, we have talked about the following items, followed by his suggestions:

• Permalink Structure and my thoughts on strategy, and his recommendations for modification.
• Internal Linking and behavior intentions of the user, starting from landing at the homepage and leading the user into the site for specific actions.
• Areas of the site that hadn't had content yet, or that I didn't need due to over-complication.

I've made a few major modifications to my site, including an entire redesign, a theme swap, and an entirely different permalink structure. I've picked up an awesome 404 to 301 plugin, to help with the massive revamp that I did, after the discussions that I had with Peter. I don't expect anyone to follow what I've done, but it's so new I can afford the mix-up. Once everything was operational, Peter was notified, and once he had a final look on the site, I've placed the first of potentially 28-30 orders or more for this project. I'll be sure to keep close track of the URL and Keyword, as I'm going for some laser precision on a single URL/Keyword combo!
