REVIEW TIME:

Today, I have got my review copy from OP. It is really an .EDU mail. The address sends/receives email with no issues. I tried to send to Gmail and my own post server, both were inboxed. Also, it's pretty cool that you can login using Gmail, so there's nothing new and scary :)

i received Edu email to review , and i was amazed that i can login with google mail interface send and receive without issue . everything is ok , i'v now to get much benefits with this awesome option ..

Bought the service and indeed the .edu credentials were sent directly to my e-mail instantly. Here's what I've tried with it so far:

Success:
  • Was able to signup for AMZN Prime with no issues
  • Unlimited G Drive is built in to the .edu account, but when it got disabled I bet it won't be useful to me
  • Prezi Edu Plan
Fail:
  • Tried to signup at MS 365 but it says my account is already existing. Can't reset password via Forgot Password
  • Can't claim free .me domain from Name.cheap, it says email not associated with eligible university

Thanks for the awesome support, bud. I didn't expect this for such a cheap service. I got the replacement account, however since it's technically still in the same .edu domain, MS still rejects it due to "licensing issues". I sent you another PM. Let's discuss there.

I've requested support from name.cheap, i'll see how it'll go. Cheers.

I got a review copy and the email is working fine.

Log in is through gmail, account is recent so no need to worry about suspension. Service as advertised.
 
Today I received a review copy from op (thanks!).

Everything worked perfectly fine for me. Sending and receiving E-Mails, logging in using Gmail and registering Amazon Prime.
