Not really strange.. as i mentioned a lot of times on this thread that ranking is about quantity + speed. Even if you use low retention as long as it is fast and a lot it will rank.

Im on page 2 now, i'm actually expecting that as my competitors has the authority channels. What would you expect with new channel 0 subs with 1 video only against channels with millions of subs and hundred/thousands of videos with verified channel too.ok wrong words.
But my toy review channel does as it has subs and with old channel. Will do what i did on the toy channel to see if it will work except the new one has very high competition. So not sure we will see the progress.

Ofcourse it is safe, we used our views on our own videos aswell to rank. The only unsafe thing on youtube is when you're uploading someones videos

UPDATE: We've did it again on our new video same formula used and this time it is SHOCKING!!! For just 2hrs with only 4k views was updated on the yt search i'm able to hit rank 6 on 17,500,000 results!! will leave some channels to give you a clue my niche which is highly competitive.
I hope it will get a lot of natural engagements so it will stay on that ranking.
