Hastehosting is the #1 hosting service in my opinion. I currently use them and the speeds are marvellous. Overall cheap pricing, good support, and great service = Total Awesomeness.
 
Disclaimer - I have received a review copy from Op a month ago.

VPS works as expected , there is some minor hiccups during initial setup. However this is what I expect since op is just starting and setting up.

Communication is great and service is as advertised. Although I don't continue my service since I don't need one now , but I would say Op provided a good service, worth trying if you are looking to get a vps

I had received a Free review VPS for a month from OP.

Decent specs, fast and it worked as expected. I tried running few of my scrapers and everything worked just perfect.

Overall a nice service to go for.

I was one of the tester for HasteHosting's VPS.
While testing, the support was great and the specs were up to the point, no overselling resources. Few of the problems i encountered were fixed within a reasonable time and he was always happy to help.

The server was very responsive and the speeds are great. As for specs, you get exactly what you pay for and the support makes it really worth it. I compared it similar VPS package i got and it was just very noticeable. This VPS flew, while the other dragged down with same programs running.

The guy is upfront about everything and very friendly.

Would definitely recommend trying it out yourself. I'm not just saying this because i got free VPS for a month, if it was a horrible experience, i wouldn't consider writing a review at all.
