Hi Ilya (aka Healzer),
I try to add you in my skype account. Just bought PinBot 3.0. I have a question about autopilot. How does the autopilot works? Say I have set 10-20 repins. I enabled 24-hour autopilot. Does pinbot repins 10-20 images in one shot or it spreads over 24 hours?
I'll reply to you on Skype asap.
But since you have a very specific question I might just answer it here, for other people to read it as well:
The autopilot is a very simple function.
Each feature (pin, repin, follow,...) can be put on autopilot mode.
When you "start" your account, the feature(s) which have autopilot enabled will wait until it is the time to start (this is the time you have configured).
In the image below, the autopilot will start at 19:04 (in 24 hour format; which is 7.04pm) [notice that autopilot isn't marked as enabled in the image though].
Once it is 19:04 on your computer, where you have PinBot running, then this repin feature will start working.
In this case, it will take a random number (between 10 and 20 inclusive) such as 15 for instance, and it will make 15 repins, each with a delay of between 30 - 90 seconds (60 seconds delay for instance).
Once it has completed this action, which on average should take about 900 seconds (15 x 60s = 15 minutes), then it will go into "SLEEPING" state.
The SLEEPING state indicates that PinBot is done for the day and will wait until it is 19:04 to start again.
There are some common questions about the autopilot which people often ask, so I'll address them here as well:
- The autopilot feature only works as long as PinBot is running. So if you close PinBot, or you shutdown your computer, then it will not automatically re-start itself. You will have to start PinBot yourself, and then "start" the accounts you wish to run.
- The autopilot feature only works as long as your account is started; just re-starting PinBot will not trigger the account to start , even with autopilot enabled, so you must select the account(s) and click the "run"/start button. Immediately PinBot will go into sleeping mode first, and it'll wait until it is time to start.
I hope this answers your questions, if anything is unclear or you have other questions let me know.
Cheers!
Ilya
