While I cannot purport to be an active use that is earning with CPALead, I do have an account and also spotted the chat notice of this thread. I will remark on that which I see and understand to be true of CPALead in it's current state.
First and foremost, I must say that this thread is a welcomed one and I believe that the members of this community appreciate the candid nature of your message as much as they do the new features. Engaging users on the forum like this will certainly pave the way to bigger and better things.
Yet, I would be remiss if I did not comment on the changes as I have seen them. I believe that all of the improvements you detailed in your post are substantial. Yet, what I find more commendable is the fact that your network truly is taking active feedback and making a difference. I agree that complacency is somewhat of an epidemic within this space or as you so eloquently said it "Networks make money then get lazy". Its equally refreshing and surprising to see such a long standing network take the position that affiliate business needs to be earned and is a privilege. It is ironic how newer networks take an opposite position at times but such is the nature of the business world.
The real discussion points will present themselves when I have an opportunity to thoroughly test your platform with my traffic but your dedication and commitment here, coupled with a lot of positive momentum I see for CPALead, has instilled me with a great deal of confidence. I too plan to begin a journey once I am able to free an adequate amount of time up to do so properly.
