I am a newbie to this. I have a cb affiliate account and this grabbed my attention, naturally. It seems like you are helpful to newbies and I would like to try using your product to start out on cb. I just posted on my facebook asking if any of my facebook friends suffered from sciatica or knew anyone that did. I've had several people respond to that in the affirmative. What would the best way for me to get them to go to the website or to sign up or buy the product? I don't know facebook's policy about posting links or inboxing people directing them to sites/links. Also not sure if I can send or receive pms. Thanks for your time.

The best way of doing this is would be to set up a quick 5 page site with good useful content (you can use the articles in the affiliate section to the do this). It might not be as quick as simply sending them your affiliate link, but it works a thousand times better. You can then also use this site to send traffic to from any source, eg YT, Q&As and ppc.
Also, if you are serious about making money online, why not set up a facebook page and spend 2 mins daily posting relevant, useful content to it? You could amass a good number of likes fairly quickly if done right (e.g. if you post shareable content such as a video, an info graphic, or even a joke/meme picture)...then you could use this page to generate traffic to your site (on which you have links to the product) or to offer them the free report (you don't even need a website to share the link from which they download the rebrandable report that we are offering (we even host the report for you with your links! - you can set it up in 2 seconds: click here)
