I'm honestly surprised so many of you sent him money when all of the reviews posted about this service were from new accounts (except for one, which I still found phishy).
I've been watching this thread as well, and was extremely interested in purchasing a few links. I contacted him on Skype and told him I was skeptical of his services and wanted to use an escrow service that I'd pay the fees for. He said he wasn't comfortable with that (red flag), but I was still so interested in these links I told him I'd wait around for some more reviews and then would contact him when I felt comfortable with the service.
Anyways, in the future I hope you guys do some more research before sending someone hundreds of dollars. In the process, I did find someone who was willing to get some high quality articles published and would use an escrow service, so I hope he's legit if it comes down to it.
I hope this guy comes through, because I'd love to use this service, but it seems less and less likely as time goes on. Sorry if you guys got screwed out of your money. :/
Skype conversation for reference: [7/22/15, 2:02:52 PM] James Franklin: I would prefer paypal
[7/22/15, 2:03:21 PM] Me: we can setup escrow with paypal
[7/22/15, 2:05:30 PM] Me: I?m not sure if you?ve ever used it before, but it?s pretty easy and protects both parties. we make the terms, i give them money, once terms have been met you get the money. if you deliver and i try to say you didn?t, it?s easy to dispute that on your part so you have nothing to worry about and if you don?t deliver it?s easy for me to dispute that as well. basically a win-win as long as you can deliver
[7/22/15, 2:12:47 PM] James Franklin: I am aware of that but don't want to try another payment method. Also it won't work for my payment terms
[7/22/15, 2:18:59 PM] Me: i mean, it could work if we setup the escrow for the entire order instead of splitting up the payments. i just see it as way too easy for someone to get $600 cashed out from paypal in the 4-6 weeks it?d take to get the project done and end up getting left with nothing. i did see some raving reviews, and that helps, but it?d also be somewhat easy for someone to make a new account on BHW, promise the world, pay someone for an amazing fake review, and then cash out after getting a bunch of money upfront for these orders (if you look at it in a buyers perspective). i?m just being cautious, and i?m sure if you put yourself in my shoes you could see my concerns
[7/22/15, 2:20:43 PM] Me: but my thoughts on everything in a couple weeks might change based on more reviews i see etc.
[7/22/15, 2:33:32 PM] James Franklin: I understand. Let me see what I can do
[7/22/15, 2:33:48 PM] James Franklin: Will get back
[7/22/15, 2:33:55 PM] Me: sounds good, i appreciate it
And that's the last I heard from him.
