Yes, the Wikipedia link will be permanent. If it gets deleted, there's a 6 months link replacement guarantee.
Obviously if you don't know what you're doing, editors will remove them within minutes at times. BUT our stick rate is 90%++ and we've plenty of links sticking over 2 years now.
