HOW TO TEST PROXIES (THE REAL WAY)

Let me explain something about the proxies, because i notice some confusion.

If you find that many proxies fail in your VPS and you think that its some IGR issues, its very easy to test it.
Open IE, make sure that you are using at least version 11.

Go to INTERNET OPTIONS, then open CONNECTIONS TAB

Then click LAN SETTINGS and check the "Use a proxy server...2 checkbox and enter your proxy IP and port and click OK

JjSLedp

Then open IE, do a search and navigate to page 1, 2, 3, etc of results.

If there is a problem with the proxies, you will find it here. The proxy will fails, even using IE.

In fact this is not even needed, but if you want to see it with your own eyes, do what i just describe.

Why is not needed? Because is not possible that IGR does some mistake that makes it displaying that a working proxy fails.

If IGR reports that a proxy is failing, its because its failing. Period.

Why? because, for browing, IGR uses the Trident engine that comes integrated in Windows.

Trident is used, per example, in Internet Explorer 11, in Google Talk, in Skype, in most email clients, in most chat clients, etc.

Why did we used Trident? Because we need to LOAD webpages (with images, js, flash, videos, etc) and navigates... exactly as a human will do it. We are doing a HUMAN BEHAVIOR search and we are giving real clicks and many user signals for browsing to make it looks natural.

Some proxy suppliers could tell you that "Scrapebox uses a more intelligent searches...."

Mmm... They do not know at all what they are talking about AT ALL.

Scrapebox are just getting the html as a string because thats what they need to do.

Also is not true that the way that IGR uses to search makes Google detects it easier. Nonsense explanations.

IGR need to make a real navigation, EXACTLY as a human. Its a bot that mimic the navigation. So we need to use a real browsing engine.
It easy to understand, we are using a real layout engine and mimic a browsing experience.. and Scrapebox does not need to do it when scrapping. If you want to know the truth, this is the true. That is the REAL DIFFERENCE.

Why don't use Chrome? We do not use Chrome, in first place because its showing Google what we are doing.

So, we use the same engine that many of the biggest software in the worls uses (like IE and Skype).

AND THAT engine is the one that display the webpages OR the same that communicates IGR when a proxy is not working for searching in Google.

Is not IGR the one that is deciding when the proxy works or not, is Trident. We only receive the message that tells us that a proxy dos not work for browsing.

Again, we are not scrapping. The comparison with Scrapebox is absolutely wrong. 100% wrong.

If Scrapebox needed to display the web pages (with images, videos, captchas, js, etc) they will find the same problem. Saying another thing is talking nosense.

Because, again, is not really IGR the one that is saying that the proxy is failing, is Trident layout engine, the same that comes with Windows AND the one that are used in most of the software that displays HTML content (like email clients, messengers, chats, etc. per example).

**We will not discuss about this anymore or get in deeper explanations or clarifications, because we will not disclose how our bot works, or it will get easily blocked by Google. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANYTHING ABOUT THIS, just read it.

One example of a very noticeable increment on ranking and other factors:

One more, of many examples, on how it works. The days it takes to see results and which position will you achieve, depends on daily clicks PER KEYWORD, and onhow competitive is your niche / ketword:

Please follow the main instructions if you want to see results:

1.- Make sure to use ONE keyword. If you want to use MORE keywords, you need TO MAKE SURE that EACH keyword gets at least 1k daily clicks, otherwise you may not see results.
2.- The number of proxies are very important to calculate how often you can do a click from the same proxy to the same website. If you do clicks from same proxy very often, it could affect your Bounce Rate.
3.- DO NOT use Analytics. Use Google Webmaster Tools to check how the CTR get increased. GWMT are delayed, you will see results (if you are sending mo1k+ clicks per keyword every day) after 5 to 15 days.
4.- The number of daily clicks depends on how competitive is your keyword / niche. For competitive ones it could need more than 1k clicks per day. If after 25 days giving at least 1k+ daily clicks to ONE keyword you do not see results in the CTR, then you need to increment the number of daily clicks.
With the RIGHT amount of daily clicks, all keywords gets results. But not all the keywords needs the same number of daily clicks. Easy ones need daily 1k+ clicks.

5.- Use only mobile user agents.

-----------------------------

In the example we showed, we make 2k daily clicks during 30 days. The CTR grows and the ranking grows.

In this other case, we run the software, BUT TO MAKE SURE THAT CTR AND RANKING grows BECAUSE our software, then we stop running it... and you can see a VERY VISIBLE VARIATION...and finally we start running it again and AGAIN its visible...

ITS A FACT THAT IGR COULD IMPROVE THE RANKING.

There is NO possible question about if Insane Google Ranker was the reason for the changes, is SO CLEAR that there is no discussion.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this last example, we can see that the ranking was improving each day. There is no question about it. Its information provided by Google.

It starts in position 48º and get to 8º position in 17 days... Yes, running it properly.

rZyqcZd

You may ask "why the number of clicks changes also each day?".

The answer is pure gold: Let me, first, give you some information... we give the same amount of clicks during all this days...
Then, again, the question is: why the first day it shows 5 impression and 0 clicks... the 3º day shows 18 impressions and ONE click...10 days latter it was showing 2,731 impressions and 350 clicks and at the end of this period it was showing 5k+ impressions and 600+ clicks? Remember: we gave the SAME AMOUNT OF DAILY CLICKS all this time.

Because we will not provide each secret that we learned in all this years improving rankings, we will NOT discuss about all this. We are JUST SHOWING.

The answer that we made, could show us several things, ONE is that Google seams to IGNORE a CTR variation, until it notice that it represents some trend and is not just a temporary variation. It looks that there is some threshold that you need to pass, to make Google to take seriously your CTR variation...

Another thing: doing several searches from the same IP, could affect the Bounce rate. Per example. If you do a search and stay in the website 3 minutes. BUT 20 seconds after the search you do ANOTHER search from the same IP, it could affect your Bounce rate, NO MATTER the time that you spend on the website.

Does Organic CTR Impact SEO Rankings?

You can read this very interesting study here about it in https://moz.com/blog/does-organic-ct...kings-new-data

Rand Fishkin founder of MOZ can explain a lot about it:

nWrNmpa

Which came first: the CTR or the ranking?

CTR and ranking are codependent variables. There’s obviously a relationship between the two, but which is causing what? In order to get to the bottom of this “chicken versus egg” situation, we’re going to have to do a bit more analysis.

We found on average, that if you beat the expected CTR, then you're far more likely to rank in more prominent positions.

So, based on our example of long-tail search terms for this niche, if a page:

  • Beats the expected CTR for a given position by 20 percent, you're likely to appear in position 1.
  • Beats beat the expected CTR for a given position by 12 percent, then you're likely to appear in position 2.
  • Falls below the expected CTR for a given position by 6 percent, then you're likely to appear in position 10.
And so on.

Here's a greatly simplified rule of thumb:

The more your pages beat the expected organic CTR for a given position, the more likely you are to appear in prominent organic positions.

If your pages fall below the expected organic search CTR, then you'll find your pages in lower organic positions on the SERP.

A simple example:
Here’s one quick example from our 1000-keyword data set. For the query: “email subjects that get opened,” this page has a ridiculously high organic CTR of 52.17%, which beats the expected CTR for the top spot in this vertical by over 60%. It also generates insanely great engagement rates, including a time on page of over 24 minutes.

5714869d722862.02502256.png

We believe that these two strong engagement metrics send a clear signal to Google that the page matches the query’s intent, despite not having an exact keyword match in the content.

Fishkin also says:

"I also highly encourage you to check out Rand Fishkin's Whiteboard Friday discussing clicks and click-through rate.

In short, the key point is this:

If a page is ranking in position 3, but gets a higher than expected CTR, Google may decide to rank that page higher because tons of people are obviously interested in that result.

Seems kind of obvious, right?"

Can I use residential private proxies,is there any option to schedule the clicks on the bot for weeks or month without touching it everyday & also is there any option to browse random inner pages as an exit page after bot browse the site targeted page(per the keyword)?

Are there any major updates this year?

I tried this program for 6 months, but unfortunately I haven't seen any results for high competition keywords. Keyword positions seems to adjust by +/- 2 positions at best.

I believe the main reason for this is because it is difficult to generate enough daily clicks on scan results that appear on pages 3 or above. However, with keywords that appear on page 1, I can easily generate thousands of daily clicks with 20 - 25 threads. I don't believe the issue is solely with bad or burned proxies. I tried with 5 different proxy packages (some very expensive) and I could reproduce the same results.

That said, I hope there are going to be major changes that will address this issue. I think a possible solution is for the bot to go directly to the page where the link is likely to be found. I understand there are variables that affect which page the result will be found, like whether it's search via desktop vs mobile, browser x vs browser y, or geo locations. However, that's something for the developers to figure out. Otherwise, there's no point on using this bot for results that already appear on page #1, if that is the only way you'll be able to generate a lot of clicks.

By the way, after I stopped using the bot, my high competition keyword positions haven't changed. Which means, it had no net effect.

Yes, in some cases, the challenge is to get enough daily clicks. Specially for high competition keywords.
The problem of going directly tot he page where the link is likely to be found is that using backconnect proxies, most are from different countires, and that could change the position.

We are still having enough good results in our tests.
We are positive sure that getting enough number of daily clicks to ONE keyword, impact in the CTR and then in the position.

We are still trying to find solutions for people that get a lot of burned proxies because the result is on a page far from #1

Yes, you can test those proxies. As long this proxies supoorts naviugating in Google without being detected, it will work.

If you leave the bot running it could work for a week, per example and you can set pages to navigate and exit.

Why would it matter if you were on page 1 or 3 or 15? Shouldn't you get whatever amount of clicks you aim for?

Yes, you should get the number of clicks you aim for. That is the point I am stressing about my results. With keywords that list the url on page 3 and above, the bot struggleds to even make it to those pages to make the click. The search times out before it reaches the page where the link is, then the bot fails to make the click. As a result, the click failure rate is much higher.

Keep in mind that If your URL for a given keyword is on page 10, the bot will click next from page 1 - 9 before it gets to page 10. Because the failure rate increases exponentially as you get above page 3, you've now narrowed the odds the bot making it to page 10 to even click your URL. I have not seen much of a difference with proxy packages. They all repeat the same failure rate.

All that said, for the CTR to make a dent in improvement in moving your link position in the directory search, you need thousands of clicks. Unfortunately, I didnt see much movement in keyword position for those links.

Doesnt that sound like a proxy problem?

That is what was suggested to me on several occasions, so I explored this issue.

I tested a total 5 different backconnect proxy packages offered here on BHW and ran the bot 2 weeks ago to see if I could reproduce the issues that I had. The test included running one project with each proxy package (USA IPs only). The project included a keyword where the associating URL link appeared on minimum page 10 on Google Desktop, Google Mobile, and Google US.

Here were the steps that I followed:

A. Run project above with IGR with 1 thread and recommended settings, with each proxy package.

RESULTS: IGR reached the link that appears on page 10 (minimum) about 12% of the time over the course of 1 hour.

B. Run project above with FireFox browser and inserted each proxy proxy package. I manually clicked from page #1 until I reached the URL on page #10+.

RESULTS: FireFox browser reached the link that appears on page about 86% of the time over the course of 1 hour.

Keep in mind that the success rate for steps #1 or #2 above depends on whether the URL can be reached and clicked.. Based on the results with Step A, IGR doesn't have much of a chance for success if it is failing to reach the page where the target URL link is. Proxy may play a role in this equation, but it's evident that IGR is having a difficult time with proxies and navigating deep into a Google search. My backconnect proxy packages ranged from $60 - $400, so even the Cadillac of proxies failed with IGR under those parameters.

Do you have any idea of how long it takes IGR to go from page 1 to page 10? Curious to know.. But yes, it seems IGR has issue navigating.. Perhaps they could give us some sort of error logging?

@IGR guys - you should take a look at this, as I think this man has brought to light some very valuable information.
