To cut things short: Didn't get results as expected.
Maybe it was chance, maybe it was miscommunication, maybe it was an error from their/my side, we will never know.

I referred a client of mine to Candybar back in January. Was told work was being done. Client was rebilled numerous times (monthly recurring).
No work was done. Emails to Candybar were ignored. Received a couple "clarify who your client is" or "I'll look into it" and never any followup.
Would much rather have resolved this through PM or email - but those are not being responded to.
Hoping to find a resolution for my client.

Links will go away when you cancel. Since these are high PR links, you can try one month, and if you see rankings you like, you can keep the links. If you don't see good results you can cancel them. Most of our clients continue for many months, especially when they combine with other packages, they see good results.
