I am giving qqTube one more chance. They have gotten a bunch of videos deleted, and no it was not the content they were just music videos by clients of ours with totally normal content. They were NOT happy. obviously.
I do my best man. I'm constantly testing/tweaking and improving our services, unfortunately it takes time and testing to figure out what is the exact issue that causes such problems. There has not been problems in a while, we hope it will stay that way, but you just never know with YT. Hopefully they finally are being logical and deleting the views they counted rather than just deleting videos going forward. We'll see, either way, I compensate in full if there is ever an issue.
@Dagreyon Why are you happy with the fact that they are removing views instead of videos? Say I buy views from you but YouTube decides to remove the views because they think the views are not legit, it's just the same you know. Videos you can just re-upload and that's it. But now you just loose the views that you paid for. So people are still going to ask for a refund if the views purchased from you get deleted.
When they remove the video, people who went to that link before, can not, other views that were there before are not, comments/likes etc. is not there anymore when they upload a new video.
I know several people who were using bad scripts and sending views to competitors and random people and just getting thousands of videos deleted on purpose, who didn't even purchase views. 1 guy said he had successfully taken down 20,000 videos doing this, which is sick and insane that people do that, but something that is going to happen if they continue.
The same thing applies to negative SEO. How many peoples sites/businesses are knocked into no where because a jealous competitor/hater just wants to send some bad links and completely ruin their site/business? It happens, it happens a lot.
Them deleting the views THEY counted makes sense. They have a change of heart on what was counted? Sweet, delete them. Them deleting someones video and reuploading, which then lost everything before that is just plain stupid. So many innocent people who did nothing and bought nothing for their own videos are hit with this. I know a lot of people complain to G and say they didn't buy it when they did, but there are literally innocent people. If you're going to risk the quality of your company to thousands of people who are vulnerable to these people who use bad scripts on random videos on purpose, then that's just dumb. Just my opinion, at the end of the day they do what they want, but I think removing the views they chose to count in the first place is understandable, them deleting videos is just reckless.
Either way, I'd gladly give a refund, which would be due if views did disappear, I was simply liking/understanding them doing this from a logical standpoint. I've always thought them deleting videos was dumb. Just my .02, we'll see how it plays out, but them deleting views makes a lot more sense than them deleting a whole video in my opinion.
Actually I hope this is true, at least you get to keep the real views you got and the money you spent backlinking and promoting the video won't go to waste. In theory you could keep sending views and take what gets through. I just wonder what the refund policy will be now.
Nothing would change at all. I stand by my service 100%. I deliver traffic, from real people around the world. We've had several issues before, but I constantly work to prevent this. I was shocked to hear they finally took on the mobile scripts people were using and for once it wasn't me...
If a video had views removed, I would make that up without an issue, I was just in joy when I heard that because it's the most logical change they've made in the last year. Deleting videos is just stupid and reckless and there were people using bad scripts to purposely get thousands of innocent peoples videos removed, which is sick, but the truth. Why they would risk the quality of their service, because they chose to count views and then changed their mind is way beyond me, just glad that they hopefully are doing what's right and removing views rather than a whole video. Let them amaze us some more though... Time will tell...
