That's the big question with any of the pinging and indexing services. We were first to the market a few years back with Linklicious as a high volume crawling service for the cheap links. Now we look to provide a direct indexing service for normal/typical amounts of links. Obviously xrumer or senuke vendors churn out massive amounts of links, but that's not the norm.

Anyway, there was a test run back when we were in closed beta comparing OneHourIndexing to Linklicious (our other service), LIndexed, Indexification, IndexKings, Nuclear Link Indexer, PingFarm, etc. The results in general aren't very surprising - most of the services indexed at about the same rate. This tells me that even though the services may state they do different things, for the most part Google doesn't care. It is funny the HUGE price difference in the services.

Really interesting to me were services like PingFarm literally NEVER worked due to the way they operate (cross site scripting is blocked, so they could never function).
