Brilliant idea. It will be good to have a service that anyone can use and it covers everything for them.

I will Suggest One Thing, Why Not Limit it for Old Users with at least 1000+ Posts to Apply for This BST. and Make Exception that, Everyone can Submit his/her BST with SEO Combo Services, which he thinks will work Best (without any Specific Quantity Requirements) and You Mods See if it Looks Legit, You guys approve it otherwise Not Approve it. Because I tell you one thing, for Few Clients of Mine, I Provide Even Directories Submissions+Bookmarks Manual+Wheels=Success and for some I Provide Even More and More but They not Get Good Ranks, Because they already use some Big Blasts Spam Links anyways, In Short I think It is a Good Think for People like me but Even I do not Provide SEO Friendly URL Service, Because It is Job of a Developer to make Site URL SEO Friendly or to validate W3 Code.
Wiki Links for Money Site not Make Much Sense, It is Mostly use for 2nd Tier. I will wait for Adjustment, as this Section will Increase Sales for People who are Providing Combo Services Packages but not getting Much Sales in SEO - Link Building Section. New Sections always Takes time to apply Rules, Because If No New Thing is Introduce Community Not survive for Long Run. But Yes as someone here said, SEO is not Fixed Rules Pattern things, Because what works now , will work in 2015 We can not say. So Best Rule is to Make it Combo Packages Services where One Should provide On-Site, Off-Site and Social All 3 in One Stop Shop Solutions. But not restrictions of specific Amount of Links or Replacement of Links with some other link. Just make it at least 3 Type of Links Must and at least 500-1000 Links Must with Quality Type plus Social Signals Include Must. Because Few People Even not want to do any On-Site they Trust There Developers and Just want some Combo Packages to get Things Done Right way. All I can suggest. Am Loving it even more in 2014 with New Things, Because It might make 2014 Better Place for People with this section. My Problem is Many People Here with Budget 100$ per Month for there sites and People with Tools and Claim they Build all manual can Harm this Section a lot. For On-Site Yes I do Use Tool and It is Best way. So Better Just make some adjustments instead of changing. Good Plan for 2014 Start.

@sdseoguru no offence mate but I offered service like yours in 2011 to mid 2012 on other forums. This links types are burned long lond time ago and are toxic now. (Check your service links with link detox for example)

Your clarification is lets say awkward to me.

. Why so many links, is it dangerous?

Mate we are not newbies here. Even most 16 years old wannabes in the forum knows your links should be spread over the time. But garbage is garbage. The problem isn't just links numbers but types.

100x Article Directories (live and approved)

One article published on 100 garbage websites?

50x High PR Blog Post

50 Shitty blog posts. Lets guess with readable content. On "private" network on some SEO Hosting with i.ps from one city.
Man one good article cost $4-5. Do the math for 50. And your prices are in
$300-$500 range

10% allows no creativity.

3. Will ROI for sellers will be low if quality manual links are expected?

This was a thought of ours as well but if you take a look at our package price you will see it is set at $300-$500 range which although is quite higher then most existing services being offered here on BHW, it is however a price point that allows the buyer to get the most for his money while still leaving sellers with a good profit margin without comprising the quality of the service being offered.

I am in the biz since a long time. 50%-100 profit is good if you deliver high rankings. But %200-300 is just rip off.

I would like to say thank you to all the members who have offered advise for this section and some really valid points have been made, i feel i need to revalidate some aspects of this section before the launch on the 1st February. I will update this thread with any amendments we make it the next few days.

Maybe you could write down few options and add pool at top of that thread or create new thread "New section opening - vote now" so you can get thoughts of many users to see what they like, and what they dont like.

I would like to mention a one point here:
besides the fact that some of the tier 1 links are already toxic, if all services use similar blueprint and in an update a couple of other link types get targetted, then whole section would get wiped out in just 1 update?

I appreciate the decision to reconsider.thanks

If this is suppose to be the "elite" section, I wouldn't propose a fixed set of links quantity and link types per package.

MY SUGGESTIONS
1. Customized proposals and recommendations per website per order. This is to ensure no 1 seo package is the same.
2. Sellers have to do a full seo analysis on website before doing a proposal.
3. Strengthen on page seo of clients website.
4. (Optional) Write content for client to strengthen on page seo.

Basically, my suggestion to make this a more advanced section is to make each SEO package unique per client in order to increase the effectiveness of the service.

The #1 focus on this new marketplace shouldn't be about buying links but focused on getting their clients a return on their ROI by giving clients a well-rounded SEO service.

^ This.

If you want to help the new guys in IM, how about not approving every shitbag fiverr-style service that comes across the Mod's inboxes? Triple the price of starting a new BST and delete BST that have had no activity for more than a few months.

This + pay-to-bump feature so sellers can't game BST threads by asking people to "ask questions".

Ok 1 thing is missing in the listed packages. (Russian/English Links - Homepage)
Section title should be: Spam, Rank and Bank.

In my opinion let people come up with their own strategies / plans to rank instead of pushing them with already mentioned plans.

Nice addition tho. Looking forward to advertise soon.

What A thread! A regulated market place will not work but force people to seek alternatives. With Google on a MAD rampage anytime, what works today might not work tomorrow. The consumer is always the best judge of quality and I think it should stay that way. When you try to regulate common sense, people stop thinking and that's bad for everyone. I am not a linking provider, but as an avid consumer who have spent thousands of dollars over the years on this forum, my insights might help with any perceived problems in the SEO market place.

The following questions have not been answered:

What exactly is wrong with the current SEO marketplace Section?

Do management feel like too many sub-standard providers are allowed to start services?

I have searched high and low, and I am yet to find a reasonable thread listing what the current problems are. If the problems are not clearly identified, solutions are just meaningless.

My observations about providers:

1- The selling thread stickies are too many and contributes immensely to the confused look of that thread. I know the forum makes a great deal of money from those stickies, it needs to be better streamlined.

2 - The current market place is robust and competitive, and that's just the way it should be in a capitalistic society. Regulated market place only creates temporary monopolies and that my friend would not benefit anyone. Backlinking is a toxic game, and Google is determined to cut us down to size, lets not make it easy. Many providers are offering what they've tested and think might work for ranking your website. If no rankings are achieved, you only get to full me once. I'm leery of monthly packages (unless for very private blog networks) because even the provider is just trying to game the system and no one is an expert.

3 - Lately, I have seen some questionable threads approved, but hey we all have to eat and I know some people have silent alliances with influence here. The moderator that approved any thread should be more forth-coming with proper reviews, if you really want to help newbies and other buyers.

4 - Currently, some people are ranking sites and some people are making good money including the forum owners with the current setup, why then do you need a monthly pre-defined monthly SEO section? Backlinking is no more a "legal" sport according to the monster we helped create (Google), so why is everyone pretending to know the holy grail formula to permanent ranking.

5- We need ways to reduce false reviews that only promotes questionable sellers. After many years here, I can spot the fake reviews and questionable posting. That I think is a bigger problem, as unsatisfied customers might just stop logging-in. How do you regulate questionable promotion of a sales thread is a problem management needs to figure out.

A robust market place guarantees innovation, and that my friends is the best thing we need in this evolving game of hide and seek! We currently do have some fine sellers and I hope they do not get lost in the shuffle.

As this debate rages on, don't forget to consider the opinions of the consumers, the buyers of these services. Contrary to what many here think, most of these services are bought by people in the game for a while with some knowledge about SEO. We have an idea what brings good results and some of the mandated link types are now very toxic in Google eyes.

I think each service for this section (name it complete SEO packages) should have some requirements you outlined but mainly focus on effectiveness. Meaning each new service that applies for this section is given a brand new website with 10 pages of unique content. Assume basic onsite SEO (low keyword density, H2, titles, etc)

Implement an application fee to cover the cost of domain+hosting+content.

Then approve only services that give real results with a brand new domain.

This thread has been closed as the member is no longer active on BHW or has decided not to renew their service. We recommend looking at an active service in this section.
