We offer free upgrades, for version 2.0. So who purchased VSB pro, received all updates until now. We are still updating and the software is bug free.
Now of course, if we release an entirely different software in the future, that won't come as an upgrade (free). But the version you purchase will always be updated.

The TTS is remote, but it's very fast.
