I have been given a review copy and played with it a couple of hours, testing its various features in depth.
What i liked about it
The software is quite intuitive and easy to use from the start, and you can get the hang of it pretty fast.
It consists of 2 different applications, better to think of it as a 2-in-1 software.
1. The Video Creator
Although at its core it's a slideshow creator (turning images into videos), there is enough depth to it and there are a couple of features as outlined in the sales page that you can use to put your own spin on the created videos. This include automatic subtitles, changing fonts, sizes, transitions, image sources, audios, etc.. the sales page is more complete in that regard.
You need to keep in mind that its main purpose is to create unique videos fast and effortless. In that aspect, it fully delivers, as you can completely create a video in minutes using its features.
This application is not very suitable for creating high quality video content (not that this was the purpose of it) or interesting videos. The videos generated are pretty generic, the classic slideshows on an audio background, and come with some limitations, sometime the images scrapped have a different aspect ratio, the subtitles text does not sync perfectly with the length of the images, etc..
2. The Video Spinner
This is the second application of the software, and its purpose is to create multiple copies of the same video by spinning the video (aka changing the length of the video to make it unique, adding watermark, changing audio etc..)
It works as advertised, as i have been able to upload multiple copies of the same video to youtube by using the spinning feature and passed their automatic verification.
I think it's a clever way of spinning the video, although it works by "cutting the video" from the beginning or from the end. So keep that in mind when creating the video if you are planning to spin it, i would have liked more a spinning process that involved "adding to the video" extra stuff rather than cutting, but that's just my preference.
What i didn't like about it
The software looked more like an alpha release, and crashed several times on my Windows 7 installation while testing its various features. It displayed some bugs in an irregular pattern, some of the stuff that did not work initially, worked after closing the program and restarting it, so it's not a matter of incomplete functionality as much as occasional bugs.
In the end, I was able to test and make use of almost all the features outlined in the sales page, but it was quite frustrating at times. Not sure if this was a specific problem with my particular Windows 7 installation or my pc specs, but it looked like it needs some work to reach a fully stable and functional version.
Would i buy it?
If you are into mass uploading videos, absolutely, especially for a 37$ lifetime license product. Saves you a lot of time, and while it's not perfect yet, it still delivers extraordinary value for the money. Highly recommended in that regard, and it's worth overlooking its occasional imperfections in favor of the increased output you are able to obtain.
When i was big into mass uploading videos on youtube i spend a couple of thousands of dollars on creating a proprietary system to mass create and spin videos to upload to youtube, and this software is able to reach similar functionality at just a fraction of the price.
