Buyer Question:

I've already installed this beautiful piece of software on my two laptops. But now, I want to migrate one of the licenses to my VPS.

Is it enough if I just uninstall the software from one laptop and install it on the VPS, or do I need to sent an email to support??

Thank you

I am pretty sure this question was answered before but I just want to confirm before purchasing.

We do not need accounts with m0z, majestic or semrush to collect backlinks. Correct? What is the maximum number of backlinks that can be harvested without these accounts?

Thanks!

Correct, you do not need any paid accounts. You will need to setup a free SEOMoz API account to get their link data but it is free.

Using the built in sources you can get upwards of 20k-40k links for the larger sites after removing duplicates between the sources.

I came up with an idea if there is possible to integrate. After you analyze a competitors page for in my example link quality, it would be awesome to see an average DA and PA of all the backlinks the competitor have. This would be a great metric to see how well are they link building. It's not hard to "eyeball it" but would be an awesome if you can integrate it.Hope you understand what i meant to say.

Yes, this makes sense and is quite doable. It is something we can add we when add in the reporting modules. I've been collecting feedback in regards to reports so if anyone has certain kinds of reports that they would like to see included send them over or post them here.

When importing links to check, is there a limit of any type? I'm importing a MajesticSEO csv of around 90K links, and once it's imported into the program, it shows that the list only goes to 25,000, however I've double checked the csv and it does in fact have all 90K of the links. I've looked all over the settings and read the manual plus read back through this thread a bit, but I didn't see anything about a limit? Is there something I'm not doing quite right, or maybe a specific way I need to export links from Majestic, that works best for importing to the program? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Also sent you a Skype message.

You're not missing anything :-) There is a current limit of 25,000 when importing. The next update (that I am testing out right now) will allow 100,000. We're gradually testing higher limits mainly due to some API and sources we draw from to make sure they can handle the higher loads.

Hi everybody. After using BacklinkMiner for more than 2 months I just want to leave a detailed review for it:

Usability:

This software has to be one of the MOST USEFUL tools I've encounter since 2011 (yeah, two years ago). You can call it "the SEnuke of backlink analysis". It's super user friendly, and even though you may get a feel it's kind of complex to use in the beginning, after seen the video-tutorials and the user manual, you would realize how REALLY easy to use is. Once everything is configured, is just add the page you want to analyze and GO.

The two things that I love the most about BacklinkMiner are that:

#1 - It gives you the ACTUALY PAGE RANK of the backlinks!! Most products (like MajesticSEO and aHrefs memberships themself) can give you all the backlinks of a site, but having to manually check the page rank of each of those backlinks was a NIGHTMARE. I don't know of any other software/service that does what BacklinkMine does. I'm sure there will be some in the future, but BacklinkMiner is a pioneer in this feature.

#2 - It checks if the backlinks are LIVE in REALTIME. I love to get high PR sites to build my own blog network so it can help me with my rankings, but I can't tell you how many times I've found "apparently good" sites that have lots of backlinks, but end up having all those great backlinks already deleted. I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Support:
I've had some problems with it (no regarding the software, but regarding the licenses as I'm always moving from a laptop to another, from one VPS to another VPS). So be honest, I was afraid that Jeremy and the team behind BacklinkMiner told me that I was migrating licenses to often, but not at all. Jeremy (or user "jkwilson78") is one of the most kind and helpful people I've talk to regarding costumer support. This guy is super friendly and actually make you feel like no matter the problem, they have you *ss covered!! (which is the best feeling in the world if you buy software and services)

Looking backwards I think it makes sense: Someone who gives such a great support, has to create such a great software.

Profitability:
Even though this software is not a "money maker", it certainly is gonna SAVE you A LOT of it.
This is how BacklinkMiner helps me keep my money in my pocket:

#1 - Now I don't waste money buying "apparently" good PR sites. Now I buy good PR sites 100% confident that the backlinks that are shown are actually the real ones (live ones and with a good PR). One of the worst sensations is to spend $100 in a "great" PR site that end up not be worth more than $9 dollars...Not anymore!!

#2 - People just to tell me that the only "reliable" solution for analyzing backlinks was to either have a membership on MajesticSEO or aHrefs, and even with those I needed to manually check the PR of the backlinks in order to find which were the most powerful ones. Now when someone tells me that, a little smile appears on my face. They definitely don't know about BacklinkMiner =) Goodbye monthly membership!! (at least for those who got BacklinkMiner as a one-time offer)

Final Rating:
5 stars out of 5. I mean... come one!! This is a software no SEOer or IMer should live without. I use it practically in a daily basis and it's as important to me as my hosting and VPS account (yeah, THAT important).
And I've just mentioned how great it is for buying PR sites.... Don't make me even start with how great it is for analyzing your competition backlink profile!!

Thanks Jeremy for releasing such a game-changer software!!

Regards,
Jorge

Giving you guys a heads up. Backlink Miner will be launching an affiliate program soon. Keep an eye out in the Affiliate Program section of the forum.

New Update Released!

We just rolled out a new update. You should automatically be asked to install it when you launch the software. Here is what is included:

1) New Metric: IP Address with possible link network detection:

Basically the software grabs the IP address of each backlink and checks to see if multiple domains use the exact same IP or multiple domains use the same Class C. If more than one domain uses the same IP, it is highlighted in red and if same class C it is highlighted in yellow.

2) Increased Import Limits:

You can now import up to 100,000 urls at a time (increased from 25,000)

3) Increased Max Threads From 50 to 100:

4) Grab Page Authority and Domain Authority For All Backlinks:

Software now grabs DA and PA for all backlinks regardless of source. Previously only backlink data from SEOMoz had this data but now it will be collected for all backlinks and sources.

5) Toggle Fade Effect When Scrolling Results On/Off:

Just right-click in the results table to see this option.

6) Save and Import Previously Collected Data:

You can now save an analysis session and then re-import that data at a later time so you don't need to rescan the data again.

These options can be accessed from the Import and Export Menu Options:

7) Improved Moz Backlink Data Retrieval:

More results are now collected from Moz data than previously. You can now get more than 1000 results for some domains when using Moz backlink data. You will notice the biggest difference in sites with a lot of backlinks. Can now get up to 3000-4000 backlinks for a domain using just Moz data. (again the more backlinks a site has the more this update will be noticed)

8) Several bug fixes and minor UI improvements

Enjoy! Thanks for the support! :-)

I just bought this and I am glad i did. Nice piece of software.

I must say I ran a project after update and i did not know that i can "Save and Import Previously Collected Data" ... save the session so I don't need to do it again next time... but now I can... saving what i do is an important thing. :)

I recommend this.

This is a nice piece of software indeed. Very useful, much better than previous development! :). But I would like to know how:

1. I can get more backlinks? Do I need ahrefs/MajesticSEO subscription in this case? It seems like the software only grabs backlinks from SEOmoz and SEOkicks.de, which are quite limited.
2. For some reason, even tho I checked the box for "page pagerank" analysis, but it didnt return any results. It just shows "-" (dash).

Thanks

1) Yes, if you want more backlinks you can get a subscription to Ahrefs or Majestic and import that data into Backlink Miner. That said I think the sources we pull from do a great job considering you don't need to pay for any of them :-)

2) The most common reason for the Pagerank issue you describe is that proxies are not being used or the proxies being used have been blocked by Google.

Thanks for the support and kind words. We will continue to get even better!

Thanks for the excellent support (that was quick).

2) Yes, i am using proxies, but is there a way to find out if 'proxies' are actually being used and maybe check to see if the proxies are blocked by Google? Thanks.
