Just purchased. Hopefully rocks! :)

Thanks for your purchase monty, good to see you on board. :) If you have any questions at all, let us know.

I'm barring some good news for others as well. AOL email creator is finished and an update is coming today/tomorrow. This week you can also expect an update with support for some new platforms. We've also been hard at work at implementing "captcha chaining" (ability to use some other type of captcha solving on fail) which is coming soon. So stay tuned! ;)

Hey Vision,

Was wondering if it would be possible to get integration with some of the indexing services? Namely "indexification"
Found here

The guy that own indexification is also a seller here, I know you have a ping service already in wikirobot, but I havent figured out a way to use the api to send them to the crawl service using the ping service. Anyway Id love to get this option added if at all possible. Thanks!

Yes, absolutely, this has been on our todo list for quite some time, but we are swamped with all the features requests and all other work so we didn't have time to implement it yet. We will contact the creators of indexification and take a look at their API. Thanks for the suggestion! ;)

Hmm that's a new one. It looks like you are missing some fonts. May I know which operating system are you trying to run WikiRobot on?

edit: we've done a quick search and this error means that some of common fonts (Helvetica in particular) are missing on your system or is corrupted. Reinstalling it should fix the issue. There's a tutorial on how to do that here: http://writeyouare.wordpress.com/2010/09/25/windows-7-fix-fonts-bold-italics/

Whenever i click exe file its shows me an error

That problem was solved by replacing with the new one.

Now the another problem. When i am trying to register wiki account, it is not registering a single account. All accounts are showing failed. I am not using proxy.

Well if you are sure that those sites are actually working (i.e. don't have registration disabled) and are one of the supported platforms (MediaWiki, DokuWiki, MacOS Wiki, WikkaWiki and TWiki) then something is blocking WikiRobot from accessing them. Usually firewall or antivirus is the cause. Try adding WikiRobot to whitelist of your firewall/antivirus or temporary disabling it and try again.

An update has been released - WikiRobot 1.0.13:

  • fixed issue where WikiRobot wouldn't run scheduler jobs when minimized until you would maximize it (this got broken in 1.0.11)
  • fixed connections timing out when connection pool was full (happened sometimes while running lots of threads)
  • ironed some other glitches
You can manually trigger the update process by going into Help / Check For Updates or by restarting WikiRobot.

Thanks for all the new purchases guys!

Good news guys - TikiWiki support is almost finished. Update is coming any day now. After the release we'll also add TikiWiki footprints to our WikiBase bots so you'll have some TikiWikis to post to. ;)

Great product!

I purchased it this weekend, and got to play with it yesterday. If you need a wiki poster, this is the one you need to get.

I was able to sign up to over 3,000 sites in little more than 10 minutes.
Verified emails in another 5 to 10 minutes.
Posted to 3,000+ sites in 10 to 15 minutes.

I really like the WikiBase feature, it makes it easy, so I don't have to scrape for sites.

I would like one feature, the ability to use directory articles with the Title in the 1st line. I have Kontent Machine, but would like to use Articles with the title in the 1st line instead of the file name. If you could add that, it would be great.

Thanks for the great product!
