lol it's not even like it's a lot of money. I just thought it was great software and very useful. What are you using as a replacement if you don't mind me asking?
it does not matter how much we paid for the software, the fact is we paid for a lifetime license (it has to be honored) or whats the point
and yes! it was great software and thats why i am so disapointed, i have spent eveny cent on some very expensive software these part 5 years and i would buy the long-tail keyword or niche finder programs if i could, the point is i am invested up to my fanny bone and whats getting to me the most is joes silence, that really bugs the hell out of me
anyway to answer your actual question i am using just google planner for keyword research, its so time consuming that i have no spare time now for working on my 15 websites and many! squeeze pages
As i said i will not say anything else about it until the end of november, if joe comes through with the goods then i'll be the first to thank him and partly! apologize (as joe has caused alot of this aggravation by staying silent)
anyway, if he keeps his word then we are sweet, but if not then (god have mercy on his sole)

Important Warning for all Customers!!!
The latest update for this software installs 2 pieces of very nasty code on your machine.
I don't know what the original date for this update is. I updated yesterday and noticed suspicious behavior.
Check these VirusTotal scans to see what they are/do:
Both are executables.
One has as the filename a random string of numbers. (i.e. 3992467.exe)
The second one is titled: wis.exe
Location of files on a W7 system in the Documents and Settings folder:
random number exe -> AppData Local
wis.exe -> AppData Roaming
These trojans are not recognized by MalWarebytes and some of the major AV's, like Eset.
The wis.exe file is trying to install itself as a startup process.
When you have good security settings on your firewall you will get a warning that Windows Information Service is trying to access resources.
I ran the update on 2 occasions. (installed clean backup in between)
Yesterday and today. Both resulted in the download of the 2 trojans.

I was waiting to give the guy a chance to do what he promised, but it's well past the time for him to come through now. He seems to have not updated his JR VIP status and now the viruses.

LolI had a good feeling this guy was a scam artist from the start, i was just standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves or are to embarrassed to do so

i think long-tail recently updated to the hummingbird updates and i've heard good things about it ..it gives accurate competition statistics

I asked seller to contact me and explain this situation and discuss steps to solve it.
He did not reply to me or in this thread.
I did a final test today and the situation is the same.
Seller is permanently banned.
I leave this thread open so customers can take notice of the warning I posted earlier.

My guess is JOEUK the scammer that ripped us all off will probably change his whole identity and signup to this forum again in a different name and try to sell other products
keep an eye out for him and tell the blackhatworld forum owners if you suspect it is him

Yeah i used to love that tool, but its a shame i was able to use it only 3 months....after that, guy didnt do anything to bring it back... Basically, lost money...its not much, but still its a scam at the end.

I spoke with him recently on Skype. He still seems to be a really a good guy, and we all know there are at least two sides to every story. It's taken him a bit of time to get his side across, but I don't feel he should be refused his chance to do so. There are very few times where I'd support someone in a situation such as this, but this guy was certainly a valued addition to the BHW Community, as many of you are aware.
