UNF has been little bit funky for me as well. I should try installing and reinstalling again.. I'll test it little bit later and see what happens :P

Thanks for your awesome continued support in this thread Hango!

I bought UNF yesterday but am getting a server error when trying to download .application file?

Still cannot expand from an expanded list. Seem to be always stuck at [Downloading] when expanding a keyword from the list. Any solutions on this? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled as well.

PM'ed you.

Problem solved itself.. It works now.

Glad it worked out.....

hango,
still facing the same stuck-problem when expanding..
any idea how to fix it ?

All these [Downloading] and non-expanded issues seem to happen very randomly. If you restart the tool and do it over with a new project it may starts working :) And it will keep working as along as you keep the software running. That's what I do. I just don't close it until I get what I need lol

I had the same problem and uninstalling and reinstalling the program everything returns to normal operation. By the way, very good customer service, I asked a question and in less than an hour they had answered me.

redkoplax,

system0102 suggested starting a new project. My developer is optimizing the code with an updated SDK this week, along with a couple other items suggested by others on the forum.

Looking forward to this; as of right now, the expanding takes forever lol but I love this tool regardless so thanks for keeping it up!

Just a quick question. I seem to be getting some weird results. Please check the screenshots below. Exactly the same keyword. While Traffic Travis shows the keyword as being Very Difficult (which my manual check by using MS confirms), UNF states that the keyword is Very Easy. A lot of my results in UNF have the same discrepancy.

Is this something on my end? How are the difficulty tabs calculated?

I'm noticing the same -- too many "not easy" keywords are being marked as "easy" and "very easy" not corresponding with Traffic Travis as much as it used to and upon manual review, they're definitely difficult to rank for whereas UNF has marked them very easy / easy. Could you please look into this?

We will look into it and add it to our list.

I need a valid alternative for this program, no offense or anything, but it is broken beyond repair by the looks of it.

Hardly ANYTHING is functioning as it should after google changed to keywordplanner, and it's been weeks now.

*Adult keywords do not expand, for example, the keyword "porn" expands into a handful of keywords like "porn blocker" etc, in other words, no adult keywords are pulled whatsoever, only 'clean' keywords, this has been broken since google changes, has been reported before as well, and has not been adressed.

*Expanding a big list of keywords simply does not work at all, nothing happens.

*program became incredibly slow, and that's an understatement, there is absolutely no need for it to take this long, i have no idea what your coder did, but i am relatively sure he has no idea what hes doing. The statement that it has anything to do with internet connection speed is totally false, we're talking about some measly kilobytes here, we're not doingloading 3 pornmovies. There are fundamental flaws (more than 1) in the code, that's the problem.

Some assistance from the old coder of the original owner would be helpful and might revive ultimate niche finder, right now i do not see how anyone can actually use this, seriously.

Sure it was just 50 bucks or something close to it, don't give a damn either, but i'll have to waste some time now to find an alternative, anyone know a proper alternative to the old ultimate niche finder, don't care about the price, please let me know.

DutchTrafficService,

Thank you for the great feedback, and I'm sorry for your troubles. There are a lot of great threads on BHW that discuss alternative keyword tools.

Hopefully, your issues will be addressed as we continue to improve UNF.

UNF is great. I have a suggestion - just do what Long Tail Pro does to calculate difficulty. The problem w/ LTP is you have to calculate them one by one (which is why I don't use it much). You can improve on it by not making us click 1 by 1 like LTP requires and calculating w/ proxies like you allow now. However, they have a better way to calculate difficulty, so you could possibly see what they do for that and implement that.

I don't get this, "continue to improve" and "hopefully issues will be adressed"....?

These are totally gamebreaking bugs we are talking about..
