Adult keywords still do NOT work, while this should be a very easy fix, i have no idea whatsoever what your developer is doing and why this has to take 35 weeks.
Next time google changes a minor detail, is he planning to spend another year adepting to it...?

hango, thanks for resetting my license for me. im having some issues. i have exact match selected in the settings tab but im getting results of what seems to be broad. this is an issue with myself only? If so please advise on how to fix this problem.

thanks

There is no BROAD match anymore; it's just [exact] match.

Mine is not expanding the keyword search. I am using Private Proxies. I'm using Version 2.0.2.5 - any fix to this problem?

EDIT: The expanding is working fine again randomly; importing CSV still not functional.

That's because even the auto update function is broken, god knows how he managed to break that, honestly the developer has absolutely no idea what he is doing.

If you don't get a proper developer, none of this will ever get fixed.

ps: Where is Clyde in all of this...? He's been awefully quiet, we all still bought this initially from him, he is the one responsible here, the fact that he dumped UNF and sold it off for some chumpchange doesn't change the fact that his users bought it from him.

Agree with the last part; don't know where Clyde is. He should at least worry about his reputation and help bring HIS software up to speed because originally, we purchased the software based around his reputation and name. I think there's a shit list thread going on for Clyde right now, I swear I've seen it.

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of getting a partner for UNF who is a developer. My current developer has been working pretty hard on this, but I think there is a benefit to getting someone on board who has some skin in the game.

The next update will address the "adult keywords" and the "closely related keywords" function. I'll probably reach out to a few of you for testing.

We are still working through the competition analysis. We think there might be a licensing issue with SEOMOZ, so I'm trying to contact them.

@rodol,

The monthly search results from UNF should give you what you would get with keyword planner. Please PM me, and we can sort out what the problem is.

@directaxcess,

PM me and we can Skype regarding the CSV import. It's working on mine, and I want to make sure

i noticed there was a new update that came along yesterday, has this fixed the competition module?

1aleem,

We're still sorting through that. I ran a comparison of about 100 different keywords between UNF and Traffic Travis based on a spreadsheet one of the customers gave me. We found that UNF ranked 85 keywords more difficult to rank for than TT, 20 keywords the same difficulty, and 7 easier to rank for. I'm going to download TT and LTP and try to do a more comprehensive test this weekend.

The new update should address the closely related keywords function. The adult keyword function seems to only be returning "soft core" results.

Yup, the adult keyword function still not working properly but I don't mind as long as I can import my AdWords CSV's in there. I'm using TT for competition analysis until UNF is fixed which I'm hoping is soon because it's been quite a while. So what issues did the latest update address (2.0.2.9)? Perhaps you should update the changelog?

So, I just search MILF with adult keyword turned on and about 741 disgusting suggestions. It should be working. With the CSV, again, I'm not having any issues. I'd like to Skype with you and my developer to see if we can work it out.

Lastly, I did a study with TT and UNF using a customer's list. UNF was ranked keywords a lot more difficult than TT. My goal this weekend is to to a 500 keyword comparison with LTP and TT. That should give us a couple different comparison points, but I'm also working with our data capture from MOZ. If that's the issue, I think it'll be done this weekend.

Hey hango,

Everything is working fine for me now, the import and the expanding. It does time out once in a while when expanding but it's nothing major. The only problem now is the competition analyzer -- let me know if you need any help; I have a TON of reports exported from TT in a variety of niches that you could plug into UNF to compare the results. Let me know if you'd like me to forward these reports to your email. All in all, great work on getting the program up to speed again!

Thanks, I've PMed you regarding your TT reports. I'm also looking through LTP to make sure UNF is ranking correctly. So far everything checks out. This makes since, given that LTP and UNF are both pulling from the same data sources.

Hi everyone,

Here is our comparison with LTP. I wasn't sure how to normalize LTP's numbered difficulty ranking system. On the LTP site, the owner basically says that keywords under a score of thirty would be good for niche website. Given that statement and the range of difficulty I had, I chose the following for the ranking system - Greater than 60 is Very Hard, 50 - 60 is Hard, 30 - 50 is Moderate, 20 - 30 is Easy, and 1 -20 is Very Easy.

I only did 245 keywords, and I pulled this data yesterday using UNF v.2.0.2.9 and LTP v.2.4.5. The results found that UNF ranked 124 KWs more difficult to rank for than LTP, i.e. it would be harder to rank on G for this KW. For 92 KWs, UNF ranked them the same difficulty as LTP. For 26 KWs, UNF ranked the KWs less difficult to rank for than LTP.

All three of us (UNF, TT, LTP) provide similar functions (albeit it we go about it different ways), and, for the most part, our competition analysis is in line with one another. UNF would probably rank some keywords more difficult since it is seeing difficulty for getting into the top 3 search results and not the top 10.

If any of you want to see the PDF with the raw data, send me a PM and I'll shoot it over to you.

Hi,

I bought UNF a few monthes ago and was very happy with it.
I did not use it for 3 monthes, and I tried it again today, I saw an error for each keyword expansion: "[Can't find the download link]".

I read this whole post but I did not find any way to solve it.

Infos:
- Using the last version of UNF (updated thanks to auto-update function)
- Adwords account in english
- Searched kwds in french

Could you please tell me how to solve it if there is any solution found for this problem?
