You're developer is lame and you should replace him. Ultimate Niche Finder is currently the crappiest SEO software. It is slow as fuck, nothing works like it should, porn keywords don't expand, the bulk domain check is also slow as fuck (check Scrapebox to see how it should be). And the things I mentioned are not even the beginning of the problems UNF has. You should definitely stop selling it until you make everything work like it should.

No lie about the first part -- if your developer is struggling this much, he's not a very good developer Anyways, I'll try out the new update and let you know how it goes.

EDIT: Competition analyzer still on the fritz -- calculating terribly inaccurate competition levels (when I say terrible, I mean it's telling me keywords that are beyond hard --> impossible to rank for as "very easy" with 60k+ monthly searches... yea, seems accurate right? This is horrid, UNF has been broken for weeks, I can't use it for its main purpose LOL so basically going to sit around until its fixed which is soon I hope. Terribly disappointed in the product, clyde and Hango's current developer (props to you Hango I know you're working hard to get it fixed but this just doesn't cut it).

to be honest I was about to post about the competition analyzer as well, some of the keywords it is suggesting as very easy are anything but, for example it is telling me the phrase 'phone games' and 'java games' are very easy, I only just bought this software, I'm beginning to think I have wasted my money

We know you're (well I know) that you are working hard to get the software up to the standards we are all used to. Just an update, with the latest version, the expanding is working just fine -- I have not tested the "Adult" keywords function yet but the expanding of keywords has definitely sped up.

The only issue for me now is the competition analyzer which is not as accurate as it used to be and I have no idea why. If you can fix that, the software will be back to it's glory.

I realize a lot of the keyword finding software companies at the moment are adapting to the new google planner, so I reckon the problems I've been reading on the last couple of pages will get sorted out. Should I hold out a bit on getting this or are the problems mostly affecting people using it for porn niche? I'm not doing porn niche myself.

The software works fine; the adult keyword function still doesn't work but you can just go to Keyword Planner, export and import the data. The expanding is working as good as before (thankfully). Only the competition analyzer is "broken" as in its giving extremely inaccurate competition readings but I hope for that to be fixed soon.

Nice one I was watching a few tutorials on this last night and noticed it needed proxies. I'm using a VPN, I take it this wont do...? Would my best course of action be to buy SB as well to get public proxies? That will have to be next week though, or go for private proxies? I could afford a couple this week.

I recommend a set of private proxies to use with the software -- it just runs smoother and faster. Public proxies are unreliable and slow. VPN will work but your VPN IP will keep getting blocked at which point you'd have to cycle the IP address and continue analyzing.

So bought the program earlier and just like my having to solder a few cat5e cables together the other day, things went better than expected )

So I only bought 5 private proxies, used one to get an adwords account together and put 3 of them into the UNF proxy section.No problems thus far, but as this is my first day doing keyword search I was just messing around mostly. I've been reading journey after journey the last few months and getting carried away seeing what is possible with IM, but always putting off the core research of keywords. So the next month I'm mostly going to be concentrating on that. Following tutorials on youtube etc..

Also, no problem with the uNiche login which seems like it will come in handy for ideas outside of what I've been thinking off.

My first real day of taking action after months of reading here, so onwards and hopefully upwards

Private proxies are definitely recommended. Users with public proxies don't have as good of an experience as those with private proxies.

Mine is not expanding the keyword search. I am using Private Proxies. I'm using Version 2.0.2.5 - any fix to this problem?
