We cant do Dripfeeding, but I am sure you will be safe if you avoid lindexing so all those backlinks would be known to google slowly than lindexing making them all known to google in days.

So, Old site would do fine with lindexing, otherwise, you better avoid lindexing.

Even if the links are blasted in one day. There is no way Google will discover all in a day. Also the lindexed submission is spread over 7 days, so in a way Google will discover the links in a drip feed style.
