I purchased this program and for the most part it runs good. However it seems to eat up alot of memory and after 6 - 8 hours it errors out on my 2gb RAM Windows VPS. I only run PM on this VPS, nothing else. Here is a screen shot I got with the error.

Any ideas on how to keep this from happening in the future?

I started using your trial today. It seems to do it's job pretty well (although I didn't have a chance to really use the proxies yet), but there are quite a few bugs!

As you can see, I got this bug, after the automatic process started (at 22.40) and failed.
But as you can see, the total amount of proxies is 890. It stood on that number since 22.11 (when the manual cycle 'stopped'), but it never finished. It started on 60k proxies or so. I didn't stop it manually, I let it run to see if it would change, or get fixed by the automatic process, but apparently not.

I also had another bug, where it went through a list, started to search again, but apparently cleared everything it had found (proxies that were already working). When I tried again, and wanted to export (using the export button), just to be sure, I got an error when saving the file. If I selected some proxies, and used export selected proxies, it worked. I tried exporting (using the button again), but it still gave the same error. I restarted the program to get rid of it, but I didn't take any screenshots.

If I run into any other errors, I'll be sure to make screens

A quick question: how many times does it use the found proxies to search for other proxies? And it seems to use the proxy that's on top of the list to search, is that correct?

Can you try opening the task manager and setting the Proxy Multiply.exe process to 'High Priority'? Do you still encounter the error after that?

Hmm, haven't seen the Null exception before while exporting a list. It will be examined and fixed in the next update.

A proxy is only used once to search for other proxies. The proxies will be used in a top-down fashion, with the #1 proxy being used first to search, then the second proxy, then the third in the list, etc, so on and so forth.

Sounds like good proxy app, however just was curious to know if there any plans to integrate it with programs like SEnuke to push the proxies automatically each time they are downloaded ?

I think it will be a great feature.

I think it will be a great feature.

Hey Abby, Proxy Multiply is able to output to text file automatically (or CSV file) which can then be read by SeNuke/Scrapebox/etc. Open the Configuration menu and click automation to enable the automatic testing of proxies and file output.

Unable to resolve your IP address to compare to proxy testing results.

I've been getting this on both of my 2 servers I'm running it on. Was working fine for 2 days beforehand on these servers. Now since this error the PM is not finding many good proxies at all.

Anyone else seeing this?

I am also getting the error. Also it's been running for 5hrs and only found 8 usable proxies.

No settings have changed.

Incidentally people are also saying that Scrapebox is having issues with proxies (might just be a coincidence, but thought I would mention it).

Was having the 'unable to resolve ip address' error this morning, booted it up just now and its working fine. I have maybe 5-6 different programs for proxies and this is definitely one of the two I use consistently on a daily basis.

Hello everybody, very sorry for the late response. As you have figured out, there was an error on a server that Proxy Multiply relies upon which has been resolved.

We were transferring servers and a DNS update needed to occur; after that the new server required set-up to perform as the old server did. Proxy Multiply is again working great on our end and as some of you have found is working well for you, too. We were working hard to fix it yesterday despite it being a holiday but did not get a chance to update you via the forums with information.

We apologize for the downtime and appreciate your understanding. The server move was inevitable (no way around it) but we should not be transferring servers again any time soon!
