Unfortunately I am a scrapeboard owner. One thing I can say for certain is that Forum Bot has a higher success rate and the captcha solver is more accurate. It's easier to use as well since they handle a lot of the little stuff for you. That gives you less control, but in the end it's not really a big deal. And of course FB offers posting options too.

Perhaps the only thing SB has over FB is it doesn't use instancing for multiple threads and you can adjust the thread numbers. My computer handles SB high thread count just fine, but 10 instance FB is like a heavy weight boxing match. However, they do intend to offer threading options in a future update as they have stated multiple times.

Everything considered FB is the better choice and when they update it with more threading options it will be better in basically every way.

I am keeping a track on this thread for a long time, i am using forum bot for say 100-150 high pr profile links, it work good with 50-60% success from the list. Also it takes lot of time.

I hope the developers update the software so it can more accurately solve captcha's and become faster.

If this software can work with vb it would be great.

Its my opinion on this affordable and easy software.

Does that forum bot solves text capchas ? and if yes, is that possible to add custom ones ?

No, it does not solve text captchas.

hmm

Ill be posting a small update with it by the end of the month.

on 01-22-2012 ;)

You still didn't "deliver" that update and you are promising another one ?
Ok, let's see

I do admit that is was my mistake buying a software without a refund policy, but I still hope ( after many months )

lol give me a break dude

I keep giving it since I bought it.
I do understand that it's not easy, but to be honest why I as a customer should care how hard is it to make/release an update, but I'll stop requesting it ... want to see how serious you are on the promise.

hmm.... look awesome software for cheap price ...... i have question sorry maybe already
answered here but don't have time to read the whole thread ... what is the requirement
for it ? will work on VPS win 2008 ?

Hey thanks for the comments. Ive been working on the update for quite some time now. I dont want to rush anything out that is not quality. :) Also, much of this has been discussed just recently, in fact im not sure if you saw my post that is about 3 posts up regarding the update. Its coming dont worry. I work on it daily.

2.6 is still churning out links and has been since its released. Its completely usable right now and will be even better with 2.7 ;)

Okay I understand.
One thing, I guess I deserve to know this being a customer.
What are the feature updates coming out in this new version? Not asking about bug fixes and all, rather new features, like may be vB, phpBB, IPB support, reCaptcha, private proxy, multi threading support, etc.
Can you give us that list?
Also a screenshot or video of how 2.7 is working right now would be nice too.

Regards

After taking the time to read this entire thread (which took quite some time actually) I decided to buy Forum Bot.

I need such a tool and don't want to invest into XRumer yet (in terms of money and time to learn how to use it right). I've saw here lots of good reviews and only a few complaints about success rates and updates. Actually I'd personally already be happy even if it only makes me 100 profiles a day while I'm sleeping or doing other stuff (hope I'll get much more though :) ). I basically don't want to pay for any one-time services and will never have the time nor the nerve to do this manually anyway.

EDIT: I've just received the license file within less than 2 hours :)

After reading this whole thread and while I'm waiting for activation,
I'd like address this message @mikeybobikey :

I totally understand when you say you "don't want to rush anything out that is not quality."
This is actually the mindset I'd expect from a good programmer.
I also feel you and can imagine how sick you may be of all the silly criticism and harassment about the next update.
(On a side note and to make everything clear, this update has been announced the first time for the end of January, post #305, January 6th on page 7)

Anyway here is a question/suggestion on that matter I hope is not that silly :

Instead of working several months on one huge update everyone is begging about, why don't you release several smaller updates from time to time even if it is only one new feature or small enhancement at a time ?

I'm sure this would keep everyone happier and reduce the criticism about your update rate. :)
This is actually what scrapebox programmers do: small updates every few weeks, even when it's only "minor bugfix release", it makes every customer happy and say "SB is constantly updated!"

Thanks for your feedback. Well its two-fold ... i dont have the same amount of time I used to have to spend on Forum Bot (please guys - dont dwell on this statement... i will continue forum bot for the forseeable future .. dont get your panties in a wad) and secondly, i dont yet have a good mechanism to publish frequent updates. If I had this in place, it would be much different.

Glad to have you as a new customer :) Yo should have rec'd the license long before now

So far so good. I'm using Forum Bot for two days now, and I'm very satisfied with it.
The success rate for the first run wasn't through the roof, but this is obviously due to the list I used (the included list which is getting old and spammed to death combined with a raw scraped list). Also, I found it a bit slow but it seems that failing forums takes more time than successful ones.

Once I got a "clean" list with only the previous successful forums, the speed and success rate became much higher, making me a very happy user :)

Also anyone who complains should consider this:
- The tool can only be as good as the one who uses it (don't be stupid and expect 100% success rate with an outdated and unfiltered list, once you get a good list, the results are great)
- Whatever success rate and speed you have, it's a $47 software that does this alone while you sleep at the push of a button, how can you not be happy about this ? (you can still spend $600+ on XRumer and $200+/month for a dedi and take several months to learn how to use right)

This clarifies some points :) You should definitely work on this "mechanism to publish frequent updates", although I can't realize the amount of work this involves, but I guess you're probably working on this already ;)

As I said, I'm very satisfied already, but can't wait for the next update with the announced new features either. Keep up the good work !

I just got Forum Bot!!! just waiting on license key!
