what do people recommend as a cut-off for adwords competition. ive been cutting out anything under 0.7, but maybe this is too picky
Hey thanks for the prompt answers.
1 more suggestion and 1 more question
Suggestion: Implement a check for domain names with -'s for exact match domains. I have a bunch of sites that rank really well when using dashes if the EMD is taken.
Question: What is the difference in the scraping section between Scrape vs Average columns. They both have the almost the same checkboxes.
Btw running ur tool head to head vs your main competetior. I see value in both but without a doubt but so far yours is scraping way way way more relevant keywords. Still want another week running them head to head. (edit: I own both and very quickly I can see how they can complement each other however to start with my initial seed scraping I will be using keyword scout. Still need more time & more trial runs before that is def but that is how it is looking early on).
Also another suggestion would be to allow multiple projects to be open at once. The tabbed interface on top is basically begging for it. Would also like something colorful to differentiate between low, medium, and high competition in the seo module. I know you can do filtering but colors make quick scrolling and picking out nuggets easier then complex filtering
Another suggestion (and before that douchebag jerkoff who gave me negative rep for spamming a thread last time acts) I am posting as I find suggestions. After a time limit the edit key is no longer available.
A huge short coming of this product is it is not proxy aware. What I mean by that is right now I am running senuke with proxies. When senuke runs like that it makes the whole system need proxy authentication (turns it on ff, ie, chrome, you name it). Some tools are aware of this and can work around it. They will simply request authentication credentials for the proxies. Keyword scout stops working with an error of unable to load login page.
That leaves me either a) turning off the proxies in senuke b) separating which computers I run them on or c) only doing keyword research when senuke is not running. It is very easy to make an app proxy aware. The main competetior of this product does it just fine (as do tons of other products).
Just purchased this tool. I regret not getting it earlier. Its amazing.
Just wondering, will it ever support more domain extension? I hope you guys can include .ca (canada) extension on it. That will be amazing!
Thanks
If I buy this here, and I chose to ask for a refund within 30 days, is this allowed. I only want to test this software and I will keep if I like it.

Review by ShadeDream
I don't really know where to start so I'll talk a bit about this and a bit about that, hopefully making a fairly useful review.
I've used all sorts of keyword research tools out there like many of you probably have or might do but I've never fully liked any of them as they would usually lack one thing or the other and if they seemed perfect they weren't always accurate. I would therefore usually stick to double checking and using the standard GKT.
When I first heard about Keyword Scout I was a bit skeptical, it's just another keyword research tool like any other, why should I waste my time with it? But when I got the chance to properly use it I almost instantly knew that this is the tool I need. It's awesome! The scraping tool itself is pretty much worth the money. I've never seen an Amazon keyword scraper tool and I think it's ace when it comes to keyword scraping, it gives me a lot of new ideas. The filtering options are pretty sweet too, giving you the ability to filter out the domains you don't need/want. I also really like the proxy checker tool, it is very fast and easy to use, just import your list and hit the test button.
All in all, this isn't the greatest review, it's not that easy to write a good review and I've not covered all of the aspects of this tool but this is an excellent keyword research tool, it's very fast, accurate and hassle free. I'd definitely recommend looking into it as it will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I just purchased the lifetime license.
but I do not see anywhere on the receipt that it is a "lifetime license"
Is there anything else I need to do... to activate it and get a download link??
Can it generate random words?
Hey,
Is your tool working with German keywords too?
