i got this problem, anye one can help me ?

I picked this tool up a few weeks ago, I really am impressed-

Keyword research is the main focus and that part is fantastic - its very quick to retrieve data - you can program in your own keywords, search by topic or generate random keywords - all of this can be done with various perimeters (CPC,Exact local/monthly searches etc).
The tool then checks the competition out in detail as well as the availability of exact domains and it even gives you a competition score for the keyword.

The proxy checker is also fantastic - really fast, I ran it for like 45 seconds and it found me 15 usable proxies and tested them:)

The tool also has SEO competition analysis tool which is really great - its comparable to MS which I normally use, its quicker as well.
The tool gives you all of the normal metrics (BLP,BLD,domain age, PR etc).

--The above is just a little bit of my experience so you know roughly what you are buying in to.

In summary:

This tool is the nutz, it really is!!!

Great, thanks for your order. :)
I'll set you up in a few minutes, when I get on my desktop.

Thanks again :)

macdonjo3 just sent me a license. I have been playing around with KS for some time now.

I'm sure no one will disagree when I say --- Keyword Scout is close to being ScrapeBox of Keyword Research.

It's extremely fast, and accurate. I'm still playing it with, so more details coming soon.

I will throw my weight around on this thread....:ridinghor

I will say firstly I have just gotten this software and am going to be testing it out in the next few weeks...it looks like a Market Samurai killer(and I hope it is! since I am tired of 5 hour keyword research sessions with MS taking forever to do its job...)

I will say though that I have been a member of this forum for coming on 4 years now....and I have seen alot of software's come and go....with only a few that are truly staple foods in the marketers diet...(You know the Scrapeboxes, Tweet attacks of the marketing realm...)...this software has alot of promise and alot of support behind it...I will give it that...

One thing that I am astounded by though is how a good software who has good support and good reviews can be rated two stars by users....this isn't even logical nor is it fair to somebody who spent dozens and even hundreds of hours of their life working on a software...if you have a hair across your A$$ then go piss in someone else's cheerios but don't take your sexual frustration out on somebody else's livliehood especially when it is unfounded and you haven't even used the software...

Macdonjo: Great looking software and I look forward to reviewing it again in the coming weeks...You are a first class dude in my and many many VIP's and Donors books on this forum man! :champion:

I will be reporting back in the near future about the software...stay tuned and thanks again Macdonjo!

I got my hands on it a couple days ago and I would say this is a great speedy tool.
Its easy to use, lets to create and manage your projects without mixing the keywords up, runs just smooth (didn't give me any error messages or anything.

I'd give it a 4.8/5 rating - (Cause I believe there is ALWAYS room for improvement :) )
Well done, Mac.

I'm giving this a good test this weekend as I haven't been able to devote the time or attention this great sounding and looking software deserves so will be back with a review asap.

I've got me private proxies loaded and am going hunting for my first new niche in months. For me this has come from Josh at a very opportunistic time which I am very grateful for. I need to look for something different to my usual sites which have tanked and made me feel like I'm jogging in quicksand of late!

This certainly looks very promising with the different filtering options and am going to see if there is a "dummies guide"/shortcut, to click here and here for a quick non-convoluted search just to get me going.

I was lucky enough to try this tool out and I must say this is awesome tool. It actually scrapes keywords pretty fast and also checks the EMD's available in one click based on your keyword selection. Inbuilt proxy support is great and it scrapes shit ton of proxies in seconds.

All in all it is a great tool for keyword scraping, filtering keywords and checking the domain names available.

Its an awesome software... I am playing with it for last two days.. I'm really impressed...

I normally dont work in micro niche... I select big keywords with low competition... This tool has found me few goldmines :)

10/10 for me...

I get really nervous when I am using new tools, and I am going to be honest, this tool is a little overwhelming when you first open it up. There are lots of neat little options/addons you can use. If you open this tool up and get confused, then STOP! and go back to the main sales page, and go through the screenshots 1 by 1 using the tool. This really helped me out.

In my first few hours of using, I found 2 keywords with several hundred exact searches per month, exact match .info domain available, and basically NO competition. I am going to be using these for review sites for one of my Marketing clients. It took me about 25 minutes from log in, to finish and I had no idea what I was doing at first.

I don't know if I will ever be a "pro" at using this tool, but just to be able to easily find some available EMD domains with 500+ exact searches per month, AND check the competition in seconds makes it worth it to me. I normally do this stuff manually, and lately I have been traveling with my netbook so doing things manually takes 50X longer. I think my clients will be very happy to see some amazing product review sites ranking highly for keywords in their niche.

Even if the EMD domains aren't available, if you find a great keyword with the tool that has low competition, you can always register a blogger or wordpress domain using the keywords as the subdomain.

The proxy tester runs fast, test the list 2-3 times if you want to make sure you have decent proxies. I scraped 300 proxies within minutes, and they seemed to work good for me. And you can export the proxy list in a normal ip:port format to use with other tools if you want also.

I wanted to leave a bit more info, but I am still playing around with this tool and seeing what other gems I can snatch up before you guys get your hands on this tool lol. Tools like this are why everytime I think of a "great" domain name idea for a niche, they are gone. Now I actually stand a chance at competing with the bigger guys in this game.

Warning : Avoid if you have an addictive personality!

REVIEW

I'm back to addictive domain buying again all because of this niche finding tool!

I thought I'd left those demented domain purchases behind me for a while to actually work on the sites I have, but no I'm firmly hooked on Josh's tool and looking at different niches all the time now!

I wanted to jump in right away which I did, but it was far better the 2nd and then 3rd times after re-reading the help pdf - it worked just like in the guide. Things speeded up big time when I used private proxies. I was
getting tired of manually inputting Captchas until I wised up and flagged the tickbox that says "Use Auto Captcha Solving Service", linked up my Decaptcher account (empty) fired up Captcha Sniper (ticked everything) and I've been happily hunting away ever since!

The proxy harvester does harvest at a rapid rate - I clicked it by mistake stopped it and still had over 40 working about 2 seconds later.

The Allintitle filter is good to remove highly competitive keywords and the EMD checker is great and both work pretty fast.

I was only using 10 semi-dedicated proxies, sometimes I mixed them up with some scraped which I think was ok, but it was faster by themselves as naturally public proxies fail on you a lot quicker.

The LSI checker addon is great and I get a lot more ideas and inspiration from this tool than others I've used which is where I think people will discover hidden strengths in this software.

The SEO module is just like Market Samurai's from when I last used that and there are competition score and profitability potential options. These last two are very useful. I think it needs to be made a little clearer on how to value the competition factor as this is an area I'm still trying to figure out or haven't seen the guide for that yet. You can get good ideas by using further filters but I'd like to use the comp filter to speed up the process.

So I'm going to be using this a lot to find some micro and mini niches as I've been biting off more than I can chew with a lot of my previous domains. Proof of this is when I check some middle competitive niches and see why I've not been moving faster with them. This tool shows up several factors that if I'd known when I thought I'd researched them, that they are a lot harder than I believed. Now I know not to waste a lot of effort on those for now!

I am very grateful for this being sent my way and already know it's helping me as I am identifying tough niches I already own and look forward to getting plenty of new ones with lower competition and more realistic earning potential.

Keyword Scout is a great addition to my SEO arsenal.

Cheers!

I will not say anything about software since almost everyone stated his/her opinions clearly. Just some simple words about @macdonjo3:

Mate, I thank you. You are really very helpful.!!!

For the others: macdonjo3 is always around to help you with KS.

This is definitely the real deal. I have only just gotten it and had a basic play around with it.

Proxy testing went easy with my private proxies, adwords account setup was smooth as well. Jumped in and ran thru the tutorial with some made up keywords just to see what data it pulled.

I have to say I am impressed with the options available. Its easy to get a lot of useful data quickly and filter it to whats workable. In times past I would have spent a lot of hours to do what this tool does in minutes. Plus the addons are great.

Ill post back more after I give this a go on some current projects I have, but initially it looks amazing.

REVIEW

Josh was nice enough to allow me to try out this software. Here is an honest review of my first impressions of Keyword Scout.
When you first open up the program there are quite a few options. Check out quick start guide and you?ll be setup in no time.

Key Features:

  • Keyword Scraping ? I used private proxies and my scrape was fast! The speed is just night and day compared to my Market Samurai. You can scrape relevant keywords from Google Keyword tool based on Broad, Exact, or Phrase with all the useful goodies such as all in title, anchor and url. There?s a neat profit potential score based off based off the monthly searches and CPC. It will also return all the available domains.

  • Keyword Generation ? Don?t have keywords or ideas for a new site? Well this feature is just awesome if you want to get started with Amazon Associates. They scrape product keywords off Amazon. Just with my short test I?ve found a few gems with matching available domains that look incredibly easy to rank.

  • Data Filtering ? There are a ton of filter options for the scraped keywords. Scrape a huge list of keywords and you can drill down to the profitable ones in a snap.

  • SEO Competition Analyzer ? One of the most important add-ons. Quickly check if those profitable keywords are easy to rank. You get to check all the usual on and off page factors such as Domain Age, PR, Page Backlinks, Domain Backlinks, DMZ, intitle, url, description, header, etc.
I?ve used both Market Samurai and Traffic Travis and this is a hands down win for Keyword Scout. This tool will not be leaving my belt anytime soon. If you are serious about keyword research, your investment will be made back in no time.

I have had it for a week. It works well and is a great replacement for market samurai for me. Its very easy to use even without reading any instructions I was using it and getting data right away. Its also faster then ms too. I would encourage anyone who needs to do keyword research to get it.

What I like and appreciate a lot about Keyword Scout is its speed scraping keywords. It scrapes and presents keywords at a fraction of the time it take Micro Niche Finder. Its proxy scraper is quite nifty and usually gets me a couple of good proxies to use. But Keyword Scout works quite efficiently and fast without them -- if you're not one of those pedal-to-the-metal type keyword scraper.

Keyword Scout is powerful, but easy to use -- it easily makes you forget the pain you suffered from Market Samurai. I also like the design of the software and how all the component are practically and logically laid out, and ready for you to select how you want it to work. I also like how it throws in several "Aha!" keywords at you that will open up a whole new niche ideas for you to go after. And if you just want article ideas for your niche, then Keyword scout will surely be your writing muse.

Keyword scout packs a lot of keyword searching muscle, and its drill-down functions are always there to go the extra mile for you. It can scrape the keywords you're after, but after it delivers the keywords, it offers you the detail tools that will help you mine niche gold. Since I got Keyword Scout, I've been using Micro Niche Finder less, and Keyword Scout more. It's fast and responsive, and delivers the research I need quickly and on demand. It also has several separate apps, namely Google keyword suggester, LSI keyword research, and SEO competition analyzer. Oh, did I forget to mention it also scrapes product keywords from Amazon?

This is a must-have tool for IM success!

Yeah I like the "ahhh" keywords too. I was just messing around with one of my sites to see what data it produced vs what data I already had and it gave me a couple of keywords that I didn't even realize I should be targeting!

So even though I haven't used it hardcore yet its already producing results. Love the micro niche facet too, its already targeted to good settings out of the box and didn't have to mess with it for what I was doing.

Have an awesome weekend!

I have played around with quite a few keyword tools but this one has to top the lot. The program has everything that you would need during any keyword research that you need to make + more. I still haven't gotten around to using half of the feaures and have already seen the potential that it has. Definately a tool that I will be using from now onwards, may also have a try at cloaking using this tool.

This tool is essential for anyone that even has the smallest keyword research jobs, highly recommended!

Sorry, that'd double our work, and it's easier for Mac users to just buy a cheap Windows VPS. I seen them for under $10/month. I got one with quad core and 6gb of ram for $30/month or something ridiculously cheap.

I have 3 windows laptops and 2 PC's and a vps and I could get more :) but I still hate using windows that's the only problem. I mean for keyword research I would love to use my mac.

OFF Topic if anyone knows a good mac os Keyword Research Tool shoot me up PM, but don't tell me market samurai or Keyword Blaze :)

On Topic I mean a software like Keyword Scout would be great but for Mac OS :)

Why don't you like Windows?

Thanks

Bought this a while back and am finally getting around to playing with it.

Here are my initial thoughts:
01) It scrapes really fast
02) The seo comp module is helpful.
03) The tool is fairly easy to use. I managed to open it up, configure it in 2 min or less and then have it get to work for me.
04) Also way easier to move around with terms for the competition then market samurai
05) Also easier to export the data then MS

I just have one question and a suggestion.
01) Does the SEO comp module list the sites in highest (hardest?) to beat to lowest (easiest) in terms of what it returns (so far it has returned 16 sites and appears to still be going),

02) It would be good if you had some kind of overall score for how hard a site is to beat even if it was as simple as green yellow red.

Anyway so far so good would def reccomend.

Edit: Can you also explain to me what the adwords competetion score is? Thx!

Also is there a way I can set a limit to how many sites it returns in seo competetion model. I would like just to see the top 10. I suppose I could stop it at the top 10 but I would prefer it to stop itself.

Finally is a there a way to do batch seo competetion so say I do research and have 50 keywords I just tell it go thorugh all 50 for the top 10 while I sleep?

Thanks again

Two other questions can you please explain to me the profit potential and the competition score? Is the profit potential in dollars and per month or per day?

Also Is the higher competition score more competitive or less and how is this calculated?

Thanks again and sorry for the barrage of questions I think I am just about done.

Thanks for the questions.

It will show the sites in the order they appear in a Google search.
There is a Competition Score figure that mildly represents the competition strength, however nothing beats a manual check. No one to date has made a flawlessly accurate competition score, as they're hard to do, because there's always a "what if?"
Adwords Competition is identical to the Adwords Competition Google provides. The competition you have for that keyword, from an Adwords perspective.

It should only show the top 10, unless you clicked it twice or something.
50 sites at once? That's been on our to-do list for a while, and should be finished soon.

Thanks

Hey thanks for the prompt answers.

1 more suggestion and 1 more question

Suggestion: Implement a check for domain names with -'s for exact match domains. I have a bunch of sites that rank really well when using dashes if the EMD is taken.

Question: What is the difference in the scraping section between Scrape vs Average columns. They both have the almost the same checkboxes.

Btw running ur tool head to head vs your main competetior. I see value in both but without a doubt but so far yours is scraping way way way more relevant keywords. Still want another week running them head to head. (edit: I own both and very quickly I can see how they can complement each other however to start with my initial seed scraping I will be using keyword scout. Still need more time & more trial runs before that is def but that is how it is looking early on).

Also another suggestion would be to allow multiple projects to be open at once. The tabbed interface on top is basically begging for it. Would also like something colorful to differentiate between low, medium, and high competition in the seo module. I know you can do filtering but colors make quick scrolling and picking out nuggets easier then complex filtering

Another suggestion (and before that douchebag jerkoff who gave me negative rep for spamming a thread last time acts) I am posting as I find suggestions. After a time limit the edit key is no longer available.

A huge short coming of this product is it is not proxy aware. What I mean by that is right now I am running senuke with proxies. When senuke runs like that it makes the whole system need proxy authentication (turns it on ff, ie, chrome, you name it). Some tools are aware of this and can work around it. They will simply request authentication credentials for the proxies. Keyword scout stops working with an error of unable to load login page.

That leaves me either a) turning off the proxies in senuke b) separating which computers I run them on or c) only doing keyword research when senuke is not running. It is very easy to make an app proxy aware. The main competetior of this product does it just fine (as do tons of other products).

Just purchased this tool. I regret not getting it earlier. Its amazing.

Just wondering, will it ever support more domain extension? I hope you guys can include .ca (canada) extension on it. That will be amazing!

Thanks

If I buy this here, and I chose to ask for a refund within 30 days, is this allowed. I only want to test this software and I will keep if I like it.
