My update is hauling booty.
Couple questions
On one of my sites it keeps saying there is 14000+ pages. It's 133 pages.
Deleted and re-configured with same results.
Any tricks to fix?
Do you plan on adding cut and paste?

Load the site up again and let it crawl all the pages. Once it's got up to 5000+ pages stop NHSEO, then go to the profile handler and select your site and then choose pages which will show you all the pages NHSEO has crawled. You can highlight the pages you want to remove, right click and select block and remove.

You can also list pages you don't want crawled on the profile handler page. Select your profile, click edit and then enter the pages in the 'don't crawl pages that contain:' box.

Seems to be running this morning without problems. I probably needed to restart my laptop after the install.

What type of error is it crashing on? If there is an error message that would help a lot. Sometimes the download can be corrupted but still manages to install and load up so maybe re-download and reinstall could work.

If reinstalling doesn't work just let me know the type of error and as much info about it and I'm sure I can get it fixed.

As dotcom has suggested it is because NHSEO is finding pages on your website, every unique URL (even ones from tag clouds etc count) is seen as a new page in the eyes of NHSEO and the SEs. You can see what pages are being crawled that you don't want including in the Profile Handler => Pages tab and remove the undesirable pages and enter some inditifier in the block pages box.

Make sure to save the profile after changing any of its settings/pages.

Seems to be running this morning without problems. I probably needed to restart my laptop after the install.

I'm glad it is working for you now, it appears to be a bug when the posting is started, stopped and then started again. I'll hopefully have this fixed in an update for later on today.

Well, I've gotta say that after a long period of NHSEO not working for me, after this update it is 'FLYING' again!

Just did the upgrade to the latest version , Since you stressed on proxies .

I am using dynamic ip from my dsl isp , that is where ever i reconnect i get a new IP , I usually do this twice a day and have checked my ip's server time they are never banned .

Just wondering do i still need to use proxies with NHSEO to get good results .

What search scrapper is now used , i remember you were using bing and was looking to change it .

Go to - Profile Handler
Select from drop down the 'profile' you want to edit - Click 'Ediit'
Go to - 'Profile Specific Settings'

Second option down - 'Domain Specific Searching'

Hold mouse curser over it and it will explain the rest!

IPORTANT - When set - Go to 'Profile Details' and SAVE!!!

I just updated to 1.6.20. At the bottom is says "Threads setup" Does not appear to be doing anything. It used to blaze through comments/trackbacks, the last week or two seems not to work at all. I've tried public and private proxies, also no proxies. Changed thread setting between 1 and 15, all with the same results... just says "threads setup".

It sounds like something is messed up with your install, have you tried redownloading and installing again? If this does not work please could you setup TeamViewer on your computer and PM me the login details so I can see for myself what is happening with your system.

Currently Yahoo is being used but this will be expanded to spread the load across other SEs also. Right now if you are running lots of profiles and/or more than 1 searching thread without proxies a single IP is likely to burn out after maybe 30minutes of posting depending on the number of profiles and the type of keywords for searching.

The next feature update will include inbuilt proxy downloading/harvesting so this will be a moot issue soon.

What is it saying in the Log? The log will always give a much better indication of what is happening with your setup, if it is posting/searching/failing etc

If you want to PM me your Log I will probably be able to give a reason/solution to what is happening.

Nope, sorry. If anything with some of the planned updates the price may increase. All updates will be free for existing customers though.

Update is working excellently for me. I really like the direction NHSEO is taking - hopefully in the future support for more platforms will be added and I'd also suggest adding search functionality for related keywords.

Thanks, I have some pretty big plans for future expansion and this new search functionality is just the start of it.

Related keywords are automatically searched for as part of the process, is this what you mean or is it something else?

I had to all but 'shelve' NHSEO for several weeks because the thing would run all night and get very few results. So I waited eagerly for the new update v1.6.19

WOW... at last it seemed to work as it should and it had been many weeks since I saw it run like this. Everything was good UNTIL the small update last night v.1.6.20

Now it's dead again!

I feel I'm wasting too much time on this SW. TBH it's spent more time on the shelf than producing backlinks.... Not happy!

Also how long are you guys giving it before assuming it is not working? The new searching system can take a couple of minutes to actually find any results due to the delays placed in it to prevent your IPs from getting blocked faster than necessary.

If there are new targets in your database you will see constant updates but if the only job available at that time of starting posting is to search for new targets and you only have 1 searching thread set in your settings then it can appear to stop working for the first couple of minutes when it is actually searching for targets.

Ah I hadn't got to that bunch of emails just yet. Looking at your log it would appear that your proxies are dead, how many are you using? Are they public or private?

The proxy thing is expected functionality, if you have the tool set to continually update the proxies from a file it will do this. If you have it set to continually update and you try to enter in some proxies manually it will overwrite them for the proxies in the file you have set.

My proxy list is (today) 35+ from HideMyAss (fast) This worked yesterdy.

Ok, so now I go to Settings - Proxy - and paste in line by line all the proxies, then (leaving all check box's unticked) I select 'Use Proxies'

Then 'copy' from 'Post' to 'Search'

So far so good! NOW.... click on 'Save' and all proxy entries vanish!

This only started AFTER v.20

So.... Now I try pointing NHSEO to my text file (containing the proxies) and 'Copy' from 'Post' to 'Searching' and 'Save'

Both 'Proxy for Searching' areas remain blank (as I assume they would now were supposedly gathering the proxy info from my text file)

BUT.... I still get this.... and many of them:
