Using Proxies and its getting struck on thread setup again and again .
I know you have put a lot of effort on this version but seems like last version was getting more confirmed results then this .
Looking forward for next update . Thanks for your hard work and continued support .
When you say threads setup is that in the log or at the bottom of the screen? If it is that the log just stays on Threads Setup could you email or PM me so we can go through some options.
However if it is in the bottom row of the screen you will need to look in the log. For all of the "errors" being reported in here most have actually been as a result of bad proxies or the proxies being entered incorrectly. Check that the proxies ar in the following format:
IP

ort
or in the case of authenticated proxies:
IP

ort:User

ass
and that each proxy is on its own line with no extra text.
As for the unrelated keyword it is possible that the entered keyword ran out quickly and the tool had to resort to scraping some trending keywords to carry on its promotions. You can right-click a profile in the profile list and choose to re-search your keywords to start using the relevant ones again.
The website I am working on is prefixed with www but I created the nhseo profile without www. I am trying to add www. in the profile handler > full address field but I can't edit this field? Should I create a new profile?
When I edited the profile and removed pages from the "pages" tab should this of deleted the confirmed links?
How can I get the confirmed links back?
I backed up the database as suggested in one of the recent updates. If I roll back to this database will the confirmed links reappear and anything added post-update I won't be able to recover?
I have no idea how I lost all the confirmed links for this profile. I would like to know what I did wrong so I (and others) don't do it again. After editing the profile and removing pages I did do some link checking and thats when I noticed 0 confirmed links. I have been running the profile since I bought the software which is a couple months now. I did have about 300 confirmed links until today :/
I am getting a bit confused with all this proxy talk. I bought 5 dedicated proxies the other day and I am using 3 of them in 'Proxy for posting' and none in the 'Proxies for searching' because I don't have enough dedicated proxies. Are you saying the next update will automatically harvest proxies which replaces the searching proxies list?
The only way of your confirmed links decreasing is when you do a Link Check, removing pages does not do this. If you did a link check with bad proxies it will have not been able to find the links on the pages and saved the post as not having a confirmed link therefore lowering the number in the confirmed column.
This does not mean that all of the links have disappeared just that they are no longer listed as having a confirmed link in the database, they are probably mostly still live on the internet. You can rescan if you wish though there is little point.
Proxies really need to be used for searching as otherwise your IP will become temporarily limited by Yahoo and NHSEO will no longer be able to find targets to post to. If you do not wish to use your private proxies for this you may be better served waiting a few days for the update that will include public proxy harvesting built in.
for proxies i use scrapebox basics
scraped proxies (proxies that are all over the web either in a list or in a forum that is usually daily updated) for searching/scraping
private/dedicated proxies for posting (proxies you pay for that only you have access to)
so i have a list of private proxies for posting and a file that continually gets updated by proxy goblin for searching.
SB can be used for scraping proxies, personally I prefer Proxy Goblin for its ease of use and total automation. Proxy Multipl is capable of getting lots of proxies really quick but uses more resources and isn't quite as automated. That is just a few options, Im sure there are plenty of free alternatives out there also.
hi! looked interesting 'til recent update, are the issues fixed? Regards
The thing that is important to note is that since NHSEO was released all users could run without having to use proxies so now they have, sadly, become a necessity people are having issues. I am sure once the proxy harvesting has been implemented and the dust clears things will begin to appear positive again.
One thing is sure that whenever there has been a problem, and there has been as with any software, it has been fixed in as quick a time as possible and this will not change.
