What did you use for tracking? Only scripts on your server, like Awstats, will be able to track all the visitors. Google and other stat counters, not on your server, won't track all the hits.

Right, I said google won't track all your visitors. A script installed on your server, like Awstats will.

Adsense, Analytics or any third-party tool are unreliable tools to track traffic, unfortunately you will never get 100% tracking with it. We base our results on server logs, with the tool awstats. You can read this interesting article on the subject :
