Same thing is happening with my web sites, I provide the instructions and the changes are not made... until she gets her house in order I would not recommend anyone hire her for any web projects. (The mock up work she has completed for me is very good, but it's been 3 weeks since we paid her the $$$ and we still do not have a finished project, or anywhere close to it.)

Glad it worked out for you...she is having a difficult time on my project however. Not sure if she simply doesn't understand or what. In my initial instructions I provided her detailed sketches,using professional wire framming software to give her the lay out, there were 3 separate revisions on the mock up. Then it went to the coding stages and that is where a lack of understanding began, I have had to provide 3 separate emals with detailed instructions and each time she does some of the changes, but leaves out many more that need to be made...this is very frustrating!

You and I spoke several times and you mentioned that the web site she is making for you is complex, is it finished? If so please post so we can see the work.

I have no doubt she can make a great looking site and will let all see...when and if she finishes my project... I will definitely post it so all can seel
 
Forgot to mention one thing...if she gets the site done we would highly recommend her, but will hold off on that recommendation until our new website is completed to our specifications.

Finally! my site is done ! after a lot of delay,

the site is good and its pretty decent work for the price you pay i mean 100$ you cant expect the world for it lol..

but the communication was a little bad but she sighted personal reasons for that I guess shit happens to all, hence i let that one by.

at the end I did get what I paid for and she made all the changes that I wanted even though there was tons of delay.

I am still not receiving messages that are sent to me through the contact page of my site. This is very important that you fix this asap, as i cannot receive any messages from anyone who visits my site, you said you forgot to take your email out and put mine in but you must have forgotten again, lol please check your pm for the email i would like all messages sent to. thank you.
 
Gave deposit 5 days ago, the design is terrible. Can't follow basic instructions & communication sucks. What more do you want from a web designer. The funny thing is, I was paying $400 for the site, wanted something decent. Lucky I used freelancer.com for the project & can get my cash back easily.
 
Update...Yachika has uploaded our web site and it looks good...she needs to make a few changes to it, but otherwise she did a good job...wil post more details later.

its been almost 5-6 days now have'nt heard back. Total lack of communication here.
 
i am also waiting for her responses from past week. lack of communication here too. and i am already late on my project because of this... :(
 
This designer is beyond stupid, put her on the shit list seriously.... I have asked probably 15 times NOT to change the company logo colors or anything to do with the actual logo. Despite providing 3 mock designs, the sites all look pretty average & as I said in my earlier posts, she has trouble understanding basic instructions.

Take your money back not a problem and as far as instructions are concerned, c'mon give me a break. You don't know what you want. You ask me to use same - exact logo and for that you are supposed to give me the logo files. Which you don't have with you. And I have made logo same as the site you gave me. So, forget it now. You need to give basic instructions properly and then expect. I gave you 3 designs and I don't have a problem in refunding if you are not satisfied but don't just say anything here when you yourself don't know what you need.
 
I am not an ass hole, you can keep the money I have plenty. Don't come on this forum advertising a service you cannot provide, that just pisses me off. The instructions were to use the customers logo from their current website, you had all the content you needed. The guy has an established website, it's his main source of advertising, there's more than enough content on that site for you.

First of all, when you design an upgrade of a website, YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE COMPANY LOGO AT ALL. Seriously, this is common sense......

Second of all, this guy wanted an upgrade of his website. He built his website himself & he fixes paint chips on cars, why the hell would you COPY his layout when it looks terrible.

Third of all, you're that SHIT of a designer you don't even use facebook buttons, your write "Click here for facebook" down the bottom of the site, grow the fuck up & put some effort into your work.
 
Also when do I expect a response, if you are done with other clients. I can ask for my refund. Waiting too long and patiently, ofcourse if it was good work there is always an extra reward and incentive. But as other mentioned there are some basic issues here.
