I suggest adding a functionality to the iAutoblog system so that it saves the user's input if there's a problem. It happened to me twice. I got an error message and then all the fields became blank and I had to fill them again.

I understand that this also means that each blog should have a unique posting email. If two blogs share the same email, there's a possibility of getting duplicate content on them. Correct me if I am wrong!

This is going to take some effort to manage as I plan to create hundreds of these blogs. All in all, it is far better than doing it manually. It's been over a week since I started creating free blogs to support my money sites and it was really tiresome and boring until I came across this thread.

I suggest you don't do that, if you allow duplicate content on the website the latest panda update would make your website rankings be pretty bad.

Get TBS if you can. It's what I did. Still not perfect.. but def an improvement.

Well if you forward the same content everywhere then yes the posts would be the same. But obviously thats not a smart thing to do!

I wont recommend that. The articles we are sending are over 60% unique and inorder to get good rankings that is pretty important!

My bad - it was the port setting - your initial post announcing SMTP features listed gmail port setting as 465 - it's 587 (this is in the video but was too small to see) - perhaps edit your post with smtp details in as this thread serves as a manual of sorts... also there's no reference to which mail servers require checking of the TLS box

Sorry to list some other bugs - don't know if you know any of these already...

- You can't 'add target keywords' in IE8 as the image doesn't appear and doesn't open the keywords window, therefore can't create or edit a campaign in IE8.
- You can't remove keywords in EDIT campaign mode
- It would be nice if you could set the number of posts per day to 'Random within Range', so between 2-6 per day for example. If this is about creating 'organic looking blogs' then posting the same number every day looks too automated.

I have a question - I created a new spun footer and pasted the spun text in and that all worked fine, but the keywords in the footer weren't turned into links by iautoblog for my next blog post - is this supposed to be how it works - or am i supposed to put code into the footer - (<a href="...">) ?

Thanks - it is very nice to know that there is something working for me in the background! Integration with TBS is a lovely feature and now with SMTP much easier to set up, still struggling with it creating the backlinks properly though. Cheers!

Can anyone share a list of blog platforms that support email posting? I have exhausted the ones shared on iAutoblog.

I have a list of 140 blogging platforms that I am checking now. I will post the ones that worked for me when I am done.

By the way, I have been experiencing some problems posting on some platforms:

-The links in my footer are not active in my tumblr posts and all the paragraphs of the posts are jumbled into a single mass
-Some posts in tumblr contain nothing but the title
-The posts sent to Posterous never show up

Earlier in this thread, someone suggested adding a feature that enables us to clone campaigns. I think such a feature would come very handy as most of the time we need to use the same campaign settings for different platforms. It would also be helpful to have some way of mass-editing campaigns and sorting them out into groups.

I just updated the videos in the instructions section. You should see more videos there soon. We are working on making more and more videos daily explaining everything and you should see better videos there if some video is not that good. We actually kept all videos under 1.5min... i personally hate the babbling some product owners do in there videos so the videos are really short and to the point. I'll try to get a zoom frame on that part!

As for button thing.. I'll pass this along to the tech team. I'm on a mac so dont really have IE.. thanks for the heads up. IE can be really a pain at times.
For the second thing too i think its a IE issue works fine in other browsers.

As for the links portion of the question that is correct you need to put html in that sort only. We allow all HTML and spinning in the footer box so you get the idea .. You can test your footer with the test button. We show footer in test emails so it should be easy to test!

We are constantly testing more and more platforms daily too. Would really appreciate it if you share your list when done setting up the blogs. We would do videos and post them too.

Are you mailing with SMTP? If yes then it should not happen. PM me the details if you can so that i can take a look.
If you are mailing with SMTP to posterous it should be no problem what so ever. just make sure the email id you email to posterous has been verified.

The clone campaign feature is planned. We are also adding the google translate feature soon! So you should see loads of new things next week like every other week we have been live

Well if you use anchor text section it would insert your link if the keyword that you targeted shows up in the article. if not it wont link. If you want to target long tail keywords i would recommend using the footer section. In that section you can insert HTML and the links should up if you add any. Also spinning in allowed in that section so you can spin the footer to make it look more natural to the search engines.

Just a quick suggestion to everybody. I would really recommend using Cpanel Forwarders for forwarding emails to blogs because they are faster to setup and also easier to manage. Its not mandatory, Just simpler!

we support everything any anything you can post to via email. So if you know of a platform that supports posting via email we can support it! You dont need to have domains because you would can build web 2.0 properties and autoblog on them.

I would recommend using the same account to register the blogs as you use to email to them. That ways you dont need to add any accounts as admin etc .. Just makes things a lot easier to setup!
