wow this looks like what I have been looking for.
I'm looking to program some youtube stuff, and possibly some ways to scrape content off sites to republish with php to my wordpress sites.
and making my own signup bots for webpages would be incredible.
I couldnt tell you how many I have bought and then they go outdated and the seller is now where to be found.

I totally forgot about this thread. I was interested but didn't have enough time on my hands. I was a programmer but got fed up of working in the &*(^(% corporate world. But programming for my own needs is something else...
The reviews all seem to give 2 thumbs up, and the price is great.
But can anyone who bought the class tell us about their own success???

Hi, I bought this course and have covered 3 chapters and watched videos, but i have had to switch away and do some other stuff. I maybe will talk to headspin when i need him.
The thing is about this course is that allthough i have not finished it, it has given me enough information to know that i could do programming if i wanted to. I had a serious block on programming for years, but now i know that i could if i wanted to.
What i found was that the programming is accessible to everyone and anyone can learn. The real problem comes when you haven't got the imagination to use your programming knowledge. Again this course addresses that because it is aimed at offering black hat IM applications and so if you want to automate IM in a quick and easy way and have control of the code. This is a great course and i reckon headspin would help out further when you want to develop more sophisticated apps.
This is one of the best services i have seen for noobs who want to get into programming ever. If you want to do more than "hello world" apps, this is a great course to get onto.

The rules for support are flexible, I just put them up to make sure there isn't any abuse.
That said, the course will still be around for some time, so why not wait until you have more free time to devote to it? You will learn better if you are able to set apart a regular amount of time per week rather than trying to cram in everything at once.

I know some people were asking for this, so I am going to post my first impressions after completing 2 of 11 of the lessons.
Headspin writes the text in a very clear and concise manner. I believe that even a noob could pick this up and start doing some useful stuff. I have to admit, I work in IT and have some background with programming languages, but I have never really been good enough to code anything really useful. I think alot of people are in this boat, where they know the syntax, but they arent thinking like a programmer.
The reason I like this course so far is because he explains how you would use each method or function in a real world BH setting. This really helps people trying to get into the correct programming mindset, and is a great way to teach since you can see the point from the beginning.
I will post back once I get closer to the end, but so far It is very much worth the $29, if anything to save yourself from having to look up all the info. Which, of course is freely available from random sources online if you look hard enough, but if you want to get a quick overview and working knowledge I would say its definitely worth it.

Edit: I did have one question - Do you not give the solutions for the exercises anywhere?

@Dev-Gank: No, I don't give the solutions on the website, mainly because the exercises can be done in more than one way but also because I don't want to encourage students to look at the answers first before trying the problems. If you want the answers to a particular section or problem please contact me directly.
What others have been doing is asking me for hints to problems or, when they get to the end of the course, to send them source code samples from software I've worked on in the past.

Everytime i want a new app and it is too difficult for me to write myself - i am going to ask the programmer to write it in VB.Net. That way i can update it and maintain it as my programming knowledge from headspin increases.
Would like to see headspin building on the PHP section in the future as i think this would be great for server side scripting..
