Wow! Must be a good course! Didn't realise this many people wanted to learn some programming!

Keep it up headspin! If you have any ideas for an intermediate course or want any help planning / code writing, let me know and i'll sort you out =] You did quite alot of everything in this course though! Will be hard to top ;)

@blackhatting: PM sent

@jammie: I am starting to think about running an intermediate-to-advanced course where I would add tutorials on a weekly basis. I'll get in touch with you when I have more time as I do have a lot going on at the moment and don't want to let the quality of support in this present course to drop.

yeah i understand, i have alot on my plate too so don't rush anything =]

just letting you know i'm here if you need a hand prep'ing materials etc. or want a hand doing anything!

I purchased the course a short while ago, and have previewed all the materials, then gone back through the first few lessons. It's definitely opening my eyes to some possibilities, and has provided a good starting point I think for me at least. I've ebayed a couple books on .net coding and php and am looking at learning more beyond the course.

Would be nice to see an intermediate course perhaps. I'd buy again...

PMs sent to everyone who replied. Please let me know if I missed you.

@dirtbag: If you would like me to recommend some good textbooks (apart from the McGraw-Hill series which are classics) shoot me a PM. I am definitely thinking of starting an intermediate course with Jammie. More on that soon.

i'll be hitting you up shortly for some one on one discussion. but i am pretty confortable with what i've seen so far. i will complete the course shortly and then i intend on playing with a few things to see if i can apply the lessons elsewhere. i've joined a couple large vb forums and have a lot of interest in learning more here. you can sign me up for the intermediate course as soon as you think you're ready to launch! thanks again.

i'm actually going to complete another lesson right now :D

actually headspin, shoot me a pm with your contact details, maybe i'll take you up on that offer to recommend some books. i have msn and icq if either of those work for you.

Good stuff but teaching someone programming in short time is just impossible I think a best way to make bots and these spamming tools is to learn Python ---> Perl ---> Ruby but they take time and effort.

@dirtbag & koolkev: PMs sent.

@ernesthemminway: Teaching someone programming in a short time is only impossible if you try to teach them everything about everything. The good thing about VB is that with all the managed code you can take a few shortcuts and still end up with a good working knowledge. I do agree that with Python and Perl (Ruby is easier IMO) it would be more difficult, but I'm not teaching those.
