No it doesn't. Every push is counted when it's added in, so you haven't lost a push.

I am officially back on my daily routine on working on link pushing and my other ventures. Any issue/request/feedback on the service - please don't hesitate to post/email it and I'll make sure it's taken care of.

Hey guys. I used Linkpushing about a year ago for a while and liked the system. It seems to have grown quite a bit. 4.0 looks to have a great unique pattern for ranking. I am going to pick this up again. I do offline SEO consulting and am shooting for page 1 results (aren't we all). I wanted to ask what current successful LP users are finding brings the best results. I am not asking for a tutorial about SEO or the specific keywords and such. I would like to know what types of links you use in conjunction with this to secure top results. BassTrackersBoats is the master I am sure. I know he offers SEO as well, so I don't know if he will, but suggestions for ancillary linking musts would be great.

Also, is anyone willing to provide a blind case study. In such a way that describes your progression of results, competition level, and traffic without specifics to give away your money site? Would be interesting.

I can't speak on behalf of my clients, but what I do in conjunction with Linkpushing is web2.0s, videos, and basically any other link type I can think of. In a good linking strategy, Linkpushing will give the biggest boost. Always remember to vary your anchor texts as post Penguin, that plays a huge role!

With Linkpushing 4.0, you can use up to 15 keywords per link push exactly because of that. Always include some naked URLs as well as random anchor texts (click here, read more, resources, read, etc).

I was busy and I did not read the thread- I just went to quick reply and posted. Maybe you should be a little more considerate yourself without jumping to conclusions.


That being said, I am terribly sorry for your loss BTB. I hope everything is alright- I know how tough it can be to lose a loved one. (and I did not mean to be inconsiderate with my question- sorry if I came off as if I did, I just hadn't read the thread)

@beakon im sure you didnt try the manual article submission and just randomly create automated link pushes all the time. For me, it never worked that way (tried that before and i realize my rankings didnt improve). You MUST provide your own unique articles and spin your articles on your own (using your own tools and make sure they result in readable format) before submitting your link pushes.

a question to BTB, do you use lindexed for every link push automatically?

I highly doubt this is down to just LP -

Have you done any of these?;

1: Looked at the sites you host your sites with
2: Done a onpage review, have you over optimised?
3: Used same keywords over and over again
4: Run a backlink report to make sure competition haven't hit you with crap
5: Are you linking to the same urls everytime?


Do those checks then come back and blame LP

The best practices with Linkpushing clearly state that it's a tool rather than a system for all your SEO needs. It brings great results if used properly. However, some SEO principles such as link velocity or diversity can't fully be implemented in any system.

You can PM me how you used Linkpushing and I'll tell you where things went wrong.

This is agreat idea, it could help more people in my situation that want to start using the service but aren't SEO experts and can easily mess up the ranks if used it wrong.

What NOT to do with Linkpushing!

#1) Do not rely on it for your sole backlinking infrastructure. That is just plain poor SEO. A well balanced backlinking program is tantamount to a strong ranking in the SERPS.


#2) Do not link only to your root domain. A solid backlinking program will include more links to your inner pages than to your main (root) url 99.9% of the time.


#3) Do not use a limited number of anchor texts for your backlinking process no matter what you use for a backlinking process. Vary your anchor text widely and do it with all of the kinds of backlinks you set to your site.


#4) Unless you have a lot of backlinking to your site do not ask to have all your LPs to start right away. We are always glad to do that for you and it takes very little time to set that up but for best practices, whenever possible, allow the system to drip feed your backlinks.


#5) Do not ignore all the free advice we offer on our blog at linkpushing.net/blog. Not only do we address specific LP concerns but we offer a bevy of SEO advice and we offer it for free to anyone whether you are a client or not... remember that we use the specific strategies and ideas that we offer on the blog to rank our own personal sites so we know it is not just blowing smoke but tried and true methods.

Actually, 100% of the time.
IMO its a bad practice pointing your links at root directory of your domain and here's why I think so:

When you're pointing at the root domain of your money site, you have nowhere to go in case Google catches you doing unnatural link building and the only option you would be left with would be to leave that domain alone and move to another one (yeah I know 301s but that doesn't work every time - you can just try that).


Now if you're backlinking your inner pages and penguin bites you, you can simply install some wordpress redirection plugin and redirect that penalized page to a new one or simply delete that page from your site and you're good to go. You won't be losing all your hard word in case shit goes down.
