Does it work for non-english websites as well as for english websites ?

Site is taking forever to load after login info? Stuck on you will redirected to protected area for a few minutes now. Any idea what's wrong?

Edit: No site won't even load up. Gives a Fatal Error. Script Error
Cannot connect to MySQL: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 110

It just loaded fine for me but I'll ask Kevin to take a look and see if there is something gong on behind the scenes; sometimes he does updates on things and I am not aware as we are in different countries and he goes about his part of our business and I go about mine to do our best to serve our clients.

The Panda updates are both onsite and offsite SEO issues with the majority of the algorithm being on site.

My sites felt nothing and that is because I have a lot of content on them and update them on a regular basis for the most part.

This is not an LP issue; you talk about 10+ pages of unique content, Dantob, that is what I add daily when I build a site.

My smallest site is 150+ pages.

All those little sites that offer little in terms of content will eventually all end up losing page rank at some point for the most part. Take a small site with 10 pages and on e of my average sites of 500 pages.. both unique content, both backlinked in similar fashion... who you you rank higher after taking a closer look?

Google took a closer look at some sites with the Panda update.

Build sites with a lot of unique content, mix up your backlinking to them and you'll be fine as Google recognizes that those kind of sites add value to the internet.

But what I have noticed is sites with less content than mine (3 pages total) and not even updated since like last year have kept their rankings while I have updated my site with new content in recent weeks and have been building links over the past 3 months as well. So if it was a matter of lack of content then these sites would have taken a hit as well. But these seem to rank well and in some cases ranking higher than the authority sites.

But the weird thing is I have a few sites that I had started a while and have not touched them with new content (only 1 page of content on homepage) and no recent backlinks (like in over a year) and that site moved up 3 spots up in the SERPs. So I can't figure out what is Google looking for when I see things like this. If it was a common thing across the board that was hit then we can just focus on adding more content and getting backlinks, but does not seem to be the case.

I know LP is not the issue since a few of my sites that I have used the LP service have kept their positions, some have dropped from #1 to page 2, others dropped anywhere from 2-10 spots, and some just have disappeared from the SERPs(though still indexed). So I've experienced like 4 different scenarios that my sites took after the Update and all of them are setup the same way and unique content and similar backlink strategy. One thing that I did notice is my internal pages took the most hits for their keywords especially the ones the I use LP on.

One other thing I noticed is I recently did 2 LPs for a site that had been no where in the SERPs for the last 4-5 months and after the Panda update that site came back to page 2 all of sudden. I don't know if I attribute it to the 2 LPs or Panda update at this time.

I don't think it is an across the board sweep, personally, I believe this is happening in waves and we'll slowly be seeing the quality sites end up taking all the top spots.

The thing is too that we will never know as Matt Cutts is not going to be telling us the whole story even if he knows the whole story and I seriously doubt he knows.

He's nothing more than a mouth piece reading off of the Google teleprompter that was planted in his brain when they hired him.

Based on your experience any suggestions on the what I should do especially for the sites that were ranking #1 and now either on bottom of page 1 or moved to page 2? I have done LPs for these sites to the homepage as well as the internal pages as well. These sites were ranking at their position for quite some time.

Do more LPs or maybe thrown in some edu/gov links to these sites from BigBuddy to see if they move up at all? I'd like to get these few sites up again since in the next month or so they make the most money at that time. Or wait it out for a week and see if things shift again since I noticed a #1 ranking that had dropped to #3 on with the update move back up to the #1 spot today.

I'd hit up BB as well as find someone to get you a boat load of social bookmarks and see if you get some movement.

BB may even have some suggestions as well; he's a pretty sharp guy.

The social bookmarks you want from all over the place and vary the KW some if possible.

Very interested in your service for my local SEO business. I'm dealing with fairly small clients at the moment, and I wouldn't classify their keywords as highly competitive. With that said, I was wondering if you could give me an idea of how many pushes I should dedicate to each client per month? Would one push per month per site be sufficient to rank them within two months, or should I be looking at more?

Your advice is very much appreciated!

2-4 is usually a good amount but that does not guarantee that it will be done in 2 months.

Have the ongoing issues with reporting been resolved yet?

We are still working on that end... the improvements in the systems private network sites is more of a priority to us at this point.
