I never worry about it and just let the system pick the articles. Yes some of them have been unrelated but I have not really seen any difference.
Yes it does help move your FB page.

They do disappear if they are not used inside of a month but don't sweat that... if you don't get them all in, I'll manually push them forward for you.
But, if you don't have enough sites to use them on, I'll buy you a domain and buy 10 articles for you so you would have 10 pages of unique content and you can use 10 LPs on them, one for each article and have 15 left over for your current sites.
I'll even do the KW research for you for the new site and I'm not too bad with KW research.

PM me some things that you find interesting and I'll do the KW research today, buy a domain and hire an article writer in one of those niches.

We found him an exact name domain match for a KW that has a finance taste to it... low to medium competition with 368K local monthly searches.
Articles are being written by Scrapeboss, who has some nice reviews in his sales thread. In addition to the main KW, we also found another 83 KWs for his site that he can add articles to after the initial 10 from Scrapeboss.
This should be money in the bank for him... Congrats, Chris!

How'd you find an EMD keyword with 368k searches per month and in such a short amount of time? That's crazy.

It's because I have absolutely no life at all.
Honestly it took me about 15 minutes or so... I have a funny way of thinking and I was in that mode so it was actually pretty easy for me.

Teach me how to get into your mode so I can spend an hour and find 4 keywords like that and retire

Some day I'll write an ebook and give it away explaining the process I use. Finding KWs is an art and not a science not unlike coming up with the value of a piece of property.
I know that there are a lot smarter guys than me out there that probably do a much better job at KW research but my process works very well for me and I can come up with a lot of different KWs for a domain.
My two latest projects are hundreds of KWs each and will end up with thousands of pages getting boat loads of organic traffic from Google et al.
Maybe if the thread hits 3500, I'll do something like this again.
Believe it or not, I get as much or more of a charge out of it than Chris did.

He has in fact found a fantastic niche with an EMD to boot.
I gave him a very vague general pm on what topics interest me as requested.
In fact very manly responses to what interests me like sport, money etc and he was able to come up with this golden Nugget.

All you need to do is to follow this process:
Log into your account
Click "Add New"
Enter a name for the linkpush
Enter the keywords for your linkpush
Enter your targeted url for the linkpush
Tick the add Docs box for your linkpush
Click "Submit your details"
You have just started a linkpush in less than 30 seconds.
With your package you have the opportunity to add in 20 different urls or 20 of the same url or mix it up and duplicate some of your urls.
Also each linkpush inside of your account can accommodate as many as 3 KWs per linkpush and I recommend you do that.
I also recommend that you target your inner pages a lot when backlinking as that appears much more natural to Google.

I've been using this service for almost a year now (not sure exactly when I started, but it was before it was offered here, maybe August 2010?). I've been using the service on 4 or 5 websites, about 50% of the LP's went to one of the sites which is in an extremely competitive niche. Most of the keywords are in top 50 now, I haven't done many pushes to those keywords lately and they're not dropping. One of the main keyword that I wanted, I'm at #7 position.
So, everything works like Greg says.
I also bought a website that's very old (just a few years younger than Google), it has lots of content but doesn't get any traffic. I've started writing posts for that and have started 12 linkpushes per month on that, hoping to make that site huge
