you need to have your own site with affiliate products and whatever you are promoting. i cant work affiliate links, all that does is help out the owner of the affiliate products.

a link pyramid consists of three levels of linking. top level is your main sites, second level is the backlinks to the main sites and third level is backlinks to the backlinks.
better than a linkwheel because going in a circle isnt good. with a link pyramid google will believe that your site has authority from all the links pointing to it
