For a brand new channel, it's very hard to get views on shorts no matter what you upload. Generally the algorithm prefer existing authority channels before giving any chance to brand new channels. It's the opposite. Aged channels with no history perform poorly compared to new channels properly warmed up. All you need to do is show YouTube you're not a bot.
