I was speaking with you on PM, yes it will work in banned countries like India too, but to make it fully working, having PC/laptop is mandatory. It's not required in not banned countries.

I recommend iPhone. With Android it's always problem after December:
-my and one buyer xiaomi redmi 9t works, another buyer have problem
-samsung, realme, few onenote models, works
-pixel 6a works here great with stock os, but not with graphene OS
-some people installed lineage os, totaly not works
-but one buyer have also Graphene OS + Pixel 6A, he is waiting 24h after account creation - for him all works

So I advice to use iPhone, even old iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 because there is a guarantee it's working always, from stock, consequently no matter what for all buyers. With Android it's your own risk, because system fragmentation: thousands of producents, different builds, different system versions and TikTok actively is looking and using for all loops to gather full user info.
