Hi,
Can you show me a sample of the monthly mix package?

I was lucky to recieve a free review copy from @Joozed

I gave him my target url and described what my site is about and a few details about what should get into the press release.
Soon after he confirmed that my topic has been accepted by APNews and that he'll finish writing the press release within a week.

It took 6 days until I recieved a really well written article with around 600 words through Google Docs.
For last I just needed to give him my business address and email because those details need to be included inside the press release. Anyway he also mentioned that you can use some dummy details for this if you're not comfortable sharing it.

2 days later the press release was online and instantly indexed. Of unknown reasons it got deindexed one day later but OP send some tier 2 links to it that fixed the problem really fast.

All in all it was a really smooth experience and I'm pretty sure that this link with those metrics will give my site a huge boost.

I will edit this post if i see some big movements in SERP within the next weeks.

Note: My site is german so i can fully recommend this service for foreign sites too as a link like this will have positive impact on any site no matter the language.

Thanks a lot for your review Jave! Appreciate it. Glad the PR is indexed and I'm sure it will give your keywords a nice boost.

Some of you have asked how the links will appear in the press release. The answer is: it will appear how you want it to appear. You’re the boss. If you want it placed near the top or bottom of the article, or if you want a specific anchor used, let me know and I’ll make it happen.

If you don’t have a preference, we’ll look to include the link in a way that is both natural and relevant. Like this:

V4lmP1wTKEJt0EcgFAyT6cXJKw1_O_HJI9tRJAl-ggLHEbI1_xB44Krz6zmiCYZ0_0UVr0udvxaT8jFlvTppexclWx_9faT4gKG7INHsKWEYi-LTX4z1wTlRrU9A9MsNlX0jVMhWiSoy9VfSSj_PqMBTPqxY0YsRnGc8Y90QF2l6rJ-4SdkUwDyGDFQWuWGv9lmZb4c

In this case, the client asked for an exact-match anchor. We’ll default to using generic, naked, or branded anchors unless you tell us to do otherwise.

APnews.com only accepts press releases. Because of that, I get PMs asking what constitutes a “press release” every so often. And the answer is: it’s a piece of content about your brand or business.

It needs to either talk about the brand — its history, values, services, etc. — or announce a change. Or both. If that still sounds confusing, ask for samples: you’ll get it when you see it.

There are a few formatting limitations as well. Take a peek at this example:

J9bSukGPvlI-EPjS8rTjfWD6IA0UyQvYJ7bQSkLxHyKuikFpZWBkpBqkeYMCXWowvte5qio2yEtxoRhL9Vysar65qYdXFwWzd0nSbURw6P2R43cre9n_CbAM6L_0_bZXmtlMyMkjBdjoP49uR1AdMN-RYnrvQQSs07FYEiEQa60ytYmM-FVPl7PcxSCu5w

The press release needs to (1) feature the brand’s name in the title, (2) include a location and date, and (3) include a short summary of the story in the first paragraph.

People have reached out asking if they can use this APNews.com service to distribute their press releases. And the answer is yes! Absolutely. If you have a press release you want to get on APnews.com, send me a DM.

In most cases, my team will be able to publish the press release as is. But if we spot any issues that may get the content rejected by the APnews.com team, we’ll suggest the necessary edits. We also offer a PR-focused link building package that can help you distribute that press release: https://invalley.com/services/press-links.

Very interested in this. Are there any samples I can review and a discount? Thanks!

I’ve received a lot of questions from people wondering what our success rate with APnews.com is, and what happens if a link gets rejected.

To answer the first question, our success rate is close to 100%. We’ve been collaborating with their team for years and we know how to put together content that they’ll approve.

For some context, it’s October 2022 as I write this, and I’m fairly certain we haven’t had a single APnews.com press release rejected this year.

Still, close to 100% isn’t true 100%. So what happens if you get unlucky and your press release gets rejected? There are three options. In order, we’ll:
  • Work with the APnews.com team to edit the press release into something they can publish
  • Offer you a replacement backlink on a site of similar value
  • Offer you a full refund for your order.
In other words, no matter what happens, you’ll get your money’s worth. I’ve got you covered :).

One question I often get when selling this service is whether or not the client will be able to review the press release before it gets published. And the answer is yes, always yes.

I always make sure clients get a chance to review and ask for changes to the content before publishing. And in the case of APnews.com press releases, this is even more important because the content will be about your business or site. And letting you review the content is the best way to make sure our writers got their facts right.

Sometimes clients wonder if there is a way to get a press release on APnews.com faster. If you for some reason need a press release published within days or in the next week, I’m sorry to say I can’t make that happen.

Right now, APnews.com placements take between 3 and 5 weeks. That includes the time needed for content creation. If you already have a press release ready the submission can be a little faster, but not by much.

The time is mostly so that the APnews.com team can review and publish the article. And I can’t directly control how fast that happens. If you want a press release ready before a certain date, you’ll need to plan ahead.

Someone asked me the other day what happens if the press release gets removed from the APnews.com website. That’s a topic worth discussing.

First, I should point out that APnews.com placements are permanent. We have clients who have gotten placements from us as far back as 4 years ago and those press releases are still live.

Still, if your press release gets singled out for some reason, you’ll be protected by our refund policy. Meaning you’ll either get a full refund or a replacement, depending on how soon the press release was removed.

You may be wondering where on the APnews.com website the content is going to be published. And whether or not the press release is going to show up on the site’s front page.

APnews.com has a different section for press releases which is kept separate from the regular flow of content. As a result, the press release will not show up on their homepage. However, it will be posted on the main APnews.com website — not a subdomain. And it will be indexed as a do-follow backlink.

Ask me for samples if you’d like to see the final product for yourself. I’m also ready to ask any questions about the final product you may have. There is no smoke and mirrors here: I want you to feel like you got your money’s worth.

Some of you have asked if you can use APnews.com placements to help push down negative search results related to your brand. And yes, that is something you can do.

APnews.com has amazing SEO numbers. Just take a look for yourself:

All that SEO juice usually means that your APnews.com press release is going to shoot up the SERP rankings for all your branded keywords soon after being indexed.

Of course, results may vary. How effective this is depends on how competitive your branded keywords are, and on how unique your brand name is. But when used correctly, APnews.com press releases can be an excellent tool for reputation management.

Someone asked if I can offer bulk order discounts a couple of days ago. The answer is yes, but it depends on the amount. If you’re also looking to place a large order, here are our discount tiers:
  • 10% discount on orders over $1500
  • 15% discount on orders over $3000
  • Custom discount on orders over $5000
These tiers apply across all Invalley.com services. You can pick and choose which ones interest you the most to get that discount.

Do you want to include multiple links with your press release? I can make that happen.

The question of multiple links comes up a lot whenever I’m selling these kinds of services. Each punisher and site has different stances on the topic, and when it comes to APnews.com, they’re typically ok with 2-3 links per placement. As long as they’re relevant to the topic at hand.

This means that we can’t use a single APnews.com press release to get you 3 do-follow backlinks for 3 wildly different businesses. But if you’d like to include a link to your landing page, a link to one of your blog posts, and a link to a news story that mentions your business or client, I can deliver that.

Just keep in mind that my agency’s money-back guarantee does not cover multiple links. We only *guarantee* one do-follow backlink per press release. But we can try to include more, and if what you have in mind fits what I described above, there is a good 90% chance that the additional links will remain in the final product.

Samples and discount codes sent! Thank you.

The question of content length comes up a lot whenever clients want to write their own press releases. How long does an APnews.com press release need to be, exactly? There isn’t a hard and fast rule for that, but somewhere between 200 and 1000 words is ideal.

Press Releases can be shorter. If your company has something short to announce regarding a change in leadership or an upcoming event, a short press release can make sense. But it just makes more sense to include at least 200 words for SEO purposes, even if the announcement is short and the rest of the space is taken up by information about the company.

If you leave the content creation up to me, my team will deliver a 500-words long press release. Which I’ve found to be the ideal length to create a final product that is both easy to read and that passes plenty of SEO juice for the target website.
