Hi there’s no way to say how much you can earn, you upload videos then they’ll share it ahead depending on how many ad views come you’ll get paid, plus it may happen you upload in June but in july it gets more ad impressions. Yes it’s legit. Sure YouTube does pay but they also do ban you, no human support etc. you can continue to upload on YouTube plus upload on the free or paid platform or just stick to free and diversify your earnings. Basically your YouTube earnings won’t be effected and you’ll get more income too win win right.

It is not like YouTube. They take your videos share it with other websites, for every ad served revenue is earned nothing is guaranteed though.
