REVIEW TIME
I have tried this platform quite extensively now, and my vote as for now is 5/10
Why?
Well, this is a guest posting tool, so its purpose should be to speed up our guest posting efforts. The way to do it is by providing sites in a good number, enough data about each site to help us decide, and a simple way to handle them.
There are A LOT of websites to choose from, so no much to say here. Great.
I dare say there is enough data for those buying in big bulks, and it's great at least for me to have Ahrefs data. I guess many will love this now that Ahrefs has moved to their new pricing system that left a bad tooth for many users. However, there was an issue (so the customer care told me), and I've found this data to be completely off for many sites. Totally different metrics. They are fixing it.
Anyway, this means that I can't trust the data right now and I have to double check each site on Ahrefs. That would be ok if it was easier, and here comes the worst part...
The user experience leaves much to desire. The platform has some bugs, like the sidebar moving in and out by itself whenever I have my cursor on it to choose an item from the menu.
But what really bothers me is that the filters are limited to the metrics, no way to choose a site by its name for example, and here we need to explain how the platform works.
In short, when you like a website on the main Websites List, you will move it to the Saved Domains list, where you can find some more data for each site and even a screenshot (great). Therefore, once you move a site to the Saved Domains list, the only way you have to find it again is by clicking on the ">" button for a number of times until you find your it. And this gets very time consuming if you have many sites in the list. Imagin skimming through 10.000 sites just to find the last domain you added.
Second point, there is no bulk actions you can apply. Example, you want to move a number of sites back to the general Websites List. No way to do it. You must click the "–" button for each site one by one. Same goes for actually buying publications directly from the platform: you must add each site one by one.
Overall, I have spoken to the guys at uprankd several times and I like them. They know what their stuff, but for me they are putting too much effort in adding sites, whereas the platform right now doesn't really make my guest posting campaigns any faster – quite the opposite.
I don't think I would ask for a refund, because I think the tool can be very valuable with some little improvements, but as it works now I can't really use it unless I delegate to a VA to do all the clicking and doble checking on Ahrefs. This is an added cost.
Of course, this wants to be just a friendly opinion. Just trying to help.
All the best to Jefis and his team.
