I will post to a variety of forums but most of them would be unmoderated ones. The reason for this is because it allows for your posts and links to stick, which will increase the changes of it getting indexed. Your post will be deleted almost immediately in a highly moderated forums. Furthermore, these forums do have the same seo value as other forums. I have tested them with a few of my own website. They all worked great with both new and old domains as well.

When you are commenting on blogs, if the blog happens to be a pr2 or higher, then youre link would likely be right on the page with the high pr. But for forums post, your link will be on another page that is just created, however, if the domain has high pr, then you will get some juice as well, but not as much as if your links were to be placed on the page with the high pr.
It depends on your linking technique. However, from my experience and extensive testing, I have never have a website receiving negative results from xrumer. So I would suggest you to link to both your web 2.0 properties as well as your money site.
