Want to tell you about one of situations we faced in our work.

Recently one of our clients, who bought backlinks in the end of spring, wrote to us and said that after he boutght backlinks with us first SERP rank was boosted and he got organic traffic but in some time the boost stopped. Although he did not stop buying backlinks from different suppliers all that time.

We asked him to show the backlinks which he bought after he had made the order with us. We checked the list of backlinks, made audit, rated the quality and got the following result:

It turned out, that 46% of all backlinks were trash. Many links weren't indexed by Google for 2-3 month, some of them were from the forum profiles, some were on subdomains with low qualithy and there were backlinks from free press-relise websites for which the client paid 50$ per link. Eventually over 700$ was put in trash.

Beside this, all these backlinks were anchor with commercial keywords and there was a big risk for the website to be penalized by Google.
