I am looking for about 50 e-mail accounts to just receive and forward e-mails. I won't be doing any spamming/CL posting. Looking for them to last and be pain free. Which non-gmail e-mail accounts do you recommend?
 
can someone explain what exactly they are doing with his high volume of accounts? Honestly curious.

I need to send emails to my 30,000 opt-in customers. My own mail server has been hacked and so I cannot use that for the time being.

Will I be able to use hotmail and yahoo email accounts to send via their smtp servers? If so how many emails can I send per account?
