About Amazon Affiliate Rate Cuts
As you are no doubt aware, Amazon is cutting their percentage rates for affiliates. If you were not aware, the details can be found here:https://searchengineland.com/amazon-affiliate-commission-rates-cut-332966
Some of our clients here at YDN have contacted us and asked us about this and what it means.
The first thing is that to YDN members, it does not mean much at all. We have always offered other affiliate programs apart from Amazon in all our niche reports.
Let's take today's niche report as an exact example.
Namely, that’s Niche 272 – April 17th.
It's for a product that has a lovely detailed longtail keyword, it gets 1,300 plus exact searches per month and it retails for, on average, $1,195.00.
However, look closely at the affiliate program section. We have 5 affiliate programs there, not one of them is Amazon.
Amazon is not the only affiliate program in town. Nor will it ever be.
Plus, look under our additional monetization section in this niche report.
We have six other ways to earn supplementary commissions off this product, and again, None Of Them Are Amazon.
Yes, we will still recommend Amazon at times but there are thousands of excellent alternative affiliate programs out there and we know then all.
So, as always at YDN, we have you covered.

Fixedi didnt get a PM
Yes, we can do that, not a problem. However it will be the first week in May when we get to that, our team already has our niches till May 1st lined up in the system and they are all physical products, clustered around categories we know are seeing increased interest at this time. We are watching Amazon closely and saw the rate changes. However, we are safeguarding against that for our members and ourselves by including at least three to four alternative affiliate programs with each niche report as well as looking to vary the streams under monetization[Feature Request by a Lifetime user]
Is it possible to extend the niche to non-physical services/SaaS with affiliate program available?
Thinking more and more people want them after Amazon's change of affiliate commission, feel free to discuss, thanks.
