I thought I would post in the sales thread since I am purchasing this immediately and wanted to thank 'adbox' for updating Blogsense as per my needs!

To see the addition that I had requested (and he quickly added), see Post: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blogging/145873-wordpress-auto-blogging-help.html)

Thank you!

You can get forum posts if the forum provides RSS feeds. I was just giving an example of ways you could use a scraper to build your blogs up.

You can also use the scraper for article websites, just not enzine and goarticles because they have bot protection, and I have no clue how any of the other scripts get around this.

You can use the scraper to turn partial rss feeds into full, but not every blog associated with a google blog search, because each blog will have its own template system that you have to figure out in order to scrape the content,

so if you have a feed with content from 10 different sources, the sources will be too varied to have one scraping pattern work for them all.

Like WP Robot, you can create google alert feeds and have partial content with links to full articles show. I do this with http://www.autobloggn.com.

BTW I'd like to announce that the main sales page is now associated with paypal rather than Google Checkout, and the first month of use is still free.

It seems very good, but bad for me because I have a blog which the database have been modified because there is a system there that we have created in a wordpress blog. I saw that uploading blogsense will drop or modify some tables.

I think I will use it in a new domain name and play with it.

Hey Guaji,

Blogsense addes a table called wp_autoblog and wp_cloaking, and it only drops what it ads. So you might be ok with your current blog. Id suggest backing up before you try.

In this case I think I will be safe uploading it on a big site that already have some in-house plugins. Anyways, I will be reading and watching the instalation tutorials and see if I can make it work.

Thanks for your answer mate

Just added a feature to the rss module that detects if there is a generic youtube link in the content, and then converts it to an object embed. Just like it's done here at BHW!

Support for Amazon.co.uk added.

Yesterday I used google to search out all the content I needed for a website about papaya plants, such as facts and lore and health tips and stuff. Most of these sites were'nt even blogs. I created 26 blank text files and ever time I found a blog's worth of content (images included) I would copy the source and paste it into the text file.

I used these text files with BlogSense's drop posting module to schedule the articles. 3 per day, and now I have a very very quality in content blog about papaya plants. Maybe one of the best blogs on the subject on the internet, using mashup content from fact pages, forums, yahoo answers, blogs, etc.

I'll be interested to see if the good content earns good reward.

I used title's like "Papaya seeds are a vermifuge (kills worms)"

The the write up would be something like:
I read that Papaya seeds are a vermifuge (kills worms) but contains a toxin carpine that slows pulse. They taste like nasturtium or wasabi (sulphurophanes) and I believe they are good for the same things: relieving hay fever sensitivity, reducing congestion of lungs or sinuses, and stimulating phase 2 detoxification (sulfation, glycination, bile salts etc.). But only on doses that don't allow accumulation of carpine, which is said to be present at very low levels, and sounds like a short acting neurotoxin.

Another source says "While most people discard the...

I am intrested in Blogsense.

Does it scrape content from Forums? (vbs)

Because I am looking forward to make a blog just for a specific section in a forum because they always have good and excelent content.

Waiting for your answer so I can purchase it

BTW does Blogsense support any none english sites? becuase the forum I want to scrape from it it is not English forum its arabic

Waiting for ur reply.

The forums have to have an rss feed for blogsense to scrape from it. You could use yahoo pipes to try and create an rss feed of the board's index and then scrape from that.

It will support non english, it just uses keywords to determine where to start scraping and end scraping, you just have to be able to get in there and discover what those keywords will be. Usually its just a specific html tag.

If you go to http://www.blogsense-wp.com/news/ and find the post about scraping, and you will see just a little bit more about how the scraping works.

Thanks for the reply.

Does is support searching non english keywords? because most of the app here when you write a UNICODE word it changes to unreadable characters.

I've sent you a pm to check before I purchase it :)

I'm interested in it. But I have a query... is it a script I can download and run on my stand-alone server?

BlogSense really does no searching for you, so I am not sure what you mean. Will you explain more?

Yes, it is installed as a stand alone script that integrates with a self hosted wordpress installation.

BlogSense 3.2 Released

Proud to announce a new release of BlogSense. Here are the most recent added features:

PDF 2 Wordpress

Alright! This is the module that should really help everyone out and add a new dynamic to autoblogging. Now you can use The Drop Posting Module to import PDF's into post-ready format, allowing you to choose how many posts you want to create out of a PDF, and title each post individually, and define how many and what pages will be presented on a single post.

Images are not supported yet, but the text content is properly imported. I'll add a video of this in action to the BlogSense Blog later.

Next on the to do list

1. Add special content before each post.
2. Add special content after each post (for better templating)
3. Easy AdSense integration and placement.
