How many IPs does that get you?

How many ads do you usually post per IP?

I have 1-VPN and 1-proxy from them so 2-IPs. I usually post 10-15 ads per IP and I'm still fine. Currently I'm not posting to gumtree.

GT do seem to definately have a limit of 5 ads per day per email , so dont break it ! it might also flag you up to look at your IP and get that banned so dont break the 5 a day per email limit.

Anybody worked out if they have a limit per IP ?

I've send 30 ads per IP in all gumtree cities and they all stayed live.

Hi there,

I am using your poster and I like it very much. Can you tell me if you or anyone else knows a way to set Gmail to autorespond to Gumtree emails? It does not seem to trigger the vacation responder when I enable it.

Thanks

As far as I know, you are safe to post using UK or Ireland proxies. Rest of the ips would get your post to be deleted or ghosted.

I had tried this earlier & I couldnt see any of my ads, which were ghosted.

If I post using an IP from Cyprus, will they approve my ad?

Nice to hear you're happy with our poster!:thumb:

I've just tested gmail's Vacation responder and emailed to that account from a non-gmail account - it worked as it should, replied back right away, all fine...

NOTE: Autoresponer will reply to same person only once in 4 days... you can reset that with changing vacation message...
anyway, you've got nice info about this in gmail's help:http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=25922

Thanks for your response. Gmail's autoresponder works fine for me as well when I send from another email account, however it does not when receiving email responses from Gumtree as it tries to email back to [email protected] instead of the post responders email address.
I am just trying to work out some way round this eg. do you know any other email providers that will reply to responders email or some sort of macro....or something else.....Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
